I've found family and friendship here. They have always been a great support to me ever since I first moved to Coventry. The church has helped me through difficult times and has been a great encouragement for my faith. I enjoy being able to volunteer there and take care of others who might be in need and there are lots of young people there to keep challenging my outlook and older, more mature Christians who can pass on their wisdom. It's a real people-first church. Everyone's welcome no matter who you are. The worship on Sundays is usually lively with a good mix of new and old songs and the bible teaching is always practical. On other days the church is normally open through its 'Jesus Centre' service which aims to help everybody, rich or poor, whether the need is practical, social or spiritual. It's easy just to pop along for a cup of tea. There's also lots of activity among the church's members around the city and links to national events around the country. If, like me, you are looking for a real Christian family who aren't shy of sharing Jesus' love whenever you need it, then this place could be perfect for you.

We just want to be friendly, warm and welcoming others - as Jesus has welcomed us. Hope you find us that way...

Church; it ain't a building with a steeple! Church; it's a tribe, it's a nation, it's a people! Lively, friendly and informal; Jesus Fellowship is an active evangelical, charismatic community of believers exploring the new life of Jesus in commitment to Him and one another. Biblical teaching, lively worship, prayer and service are all to be found with the over riding emphasis on friendship, acceptance and redemptive love in creative, honest and real community- ALL are welcome and we mean All!

I when I first visited [12yrs ago] I met a varied, friendly and welcoming bunch of people. I was taken by the voluntary work they also do there. The hall didn't feel heavy or formal either. I was soon invited along to meals in people's houses and felt accepted very quickly. Soon after I became a Christian. I've found acceptance and genuine frienship here. Since then I've found purpose in volunteering, caretaking, joined the charities committee & do some admin for prayer in the congregation. My wife and children enjoy the Sunday meetings, we all do. My youngest likes to dance in the isles, we do it together. There is room for people to express themselves and it's family friendly. Sundays @10.30 They have welcome in the Foyer with free Teas & Coffee. From 11.00 prayer, worship, a kid's spot & a children's [lamb's] club abd sharings about activity happening throughout the week. There is plenty of opportunity to help or volunteer in the week too. My life isn't the same without it, I've found a 'home' here and there is room for more if you'd like to find home too. Come along and see for yourself, whatever your background or history, we're not judgemental. I've lived in Coventry all my life but first time visitors to the city are just as welcomed as I am. If you don't speak much english don't worry we'll overcome that. There are even ESOL classes in the week.
