I just felt like heading out to Coventry on a Sunday afternoon as I don’t go that way that much, and as I was walking around the city centre. I saw Steakout and I thought I’ll give it a go.
When entering the place it was not busy, and I assumed that it gets busier during the evenings. The guy at the front who served me was polite and friendly, when I asked him questions about the menu he was good and answered my questions politely.
For the starters I ordered the Dirty Fries (with ground beef), the drinks I ordered the Mixed Fruit Juice and the main dish, I ordered the Fillet Mignon (340g).
The Dirty Fries were good, they were like a main course meal by itself. The Mixed Fruit Juice was refreshing and cool (I should of asked for more and binged on it 😅). And the Fillet Mignon was on the point between good and ok.
Apart from that my experience at Steakout Coventry was a good one👍.
Ate in on a relaxed mid month Saturday afternoon. Not many people in eating. The service was great. The young lady that served us made us feel most welcome and ensured that the little changes to our orders were made. Even made small talk with us when we asked what there was nearby to do. Food exceeded our expectations. I had great short ribs. Desserts looked amazing (but I was stuffed from the main). I tipped I was that happy. We would go again. No negatives that I can think of. A good experience.
This was a very nice meal! We got the mixed grill, the mac and cheese burger, the philly cheesesteak, and the dirty fries. The mixed grill was the best part and highly recommend getting that. The mac and cheese burger was okay, but the mac and cheese tasted like it has been sitting for awhile. The waitstaff was friendly, but the wait time and attentiveness was a bit slow.
This was my first time with a stake. I can't rate it 5 star. It was just good. Customer Service was good. Food was Service in about twenty minutes of order. Dirty chips were the best item. It was really hard to find parking.
Good evening out. Be careful with parking as nothing official nearby. May need to ask staff to allow local parking spot. Good steak and meat. Great for one off or a treat as does add up quickly if there’s a lot of you..
Meat was well cooked, we had a nice server very attentive and always checked on us. The mixed veggies were a little light on the portion side but the sweet potato fries made up for it. They were very very good. Crispy too!! Didn’t break bank either and the food was served fast even in a larger group.
The best chicken and mushroom pie ever, I was also impressed with the service and how they personalised it.
We visited on a Saturday evening about 6:30pm and there were plenty of tables available. Nice and clean, background music not too loud. The staff were chatty and attentive to the right level and gave us a few minutes before taking a drinks order then giving us time to look at the menu offering to explain anything on there. We had some starters, a sizzling butterflied chicken, a sandwich and burger. We were all pleased with the portion size and quality of the food. Service did seem a little slow but to be fair there was a local rugby team that ordered before us! Dessert portion size was ample after what we'd had.

1. Pulled Angus Beef Burger (£9.95) - Two Angus beef patties, American cheese, lettuce topped with BBQ pulled beef & home made burger sauce 🍔
Verdict: I thoroughly enjoyed the pulled beef as the shredded layers of beef gave the burger a nice textural interplay. The pulled Angus beef burger was a promising ensemble with heady doses of beefiness but a superfluous flood of sauce obscured most of the other ingredients in the mix. The burger was over drenched in sauce causing it to be sloppy and it was unable to hold itself together - would have been way better if they reduced the amount of sauce. The beef patties were actually very thin, so don’t be hesitant when ordering, because it honestly feels like a single burger 😜 Overall, it felt a little too much for me mainly due to the overuse of sauce. On a better note, the service was excellent and the staffs were attentive which made me feel welcomed and made my dining experience a memorable one 🥰🤠
We went on a quiet night so not much atmosphere. The staff were nice but really we need more knapkins… chicken wings and fries need wiping :) otherwise all good. The t bone was delicious.
Went here yesterday with the boys, ordered 2 tbone steaks and 1 minion food was exceptionally good, the prawns were really good too, but i really loved the service from the waitress there , her name is orla , she was amazing properly made sure to look after us boys, shes a asset to the restaurant. Overall 5 * from me.
Had a brilliant meal here this evening, the service was efficient, super friendly and the waiter could not do enough for us. The food was fresh, hot and tasty. The steak was cooked to perfection. Chicken wings were delicious and so meaty. Thank you for a lovely meal.
Food was really good! However some of the staff (female blonde server) were quite rude. We had booked a reservation with them a week prior and when we entered she practically scoffed in our faces. Then proceeded to give us relatively poor service after we got our food also. However, the food really did excel so I would recommend.
Very nice place to eat, warm and cozy the steaks aren't always perfect but very nice. The staff are real helpful. Tables and floors are always clean if you have the money for steak I would recommend, even the cheaper options are real nice. I would recommend the stakeout sauce as well, it gives the steak a huge array of different flavours a perfect combo with the garlic mash potatoes.
Late lunch Valentine’s Day. Wings with Honey Mustard sauce was so tasty. Burger was juicy and beef patty was beefy. Shakes was a bit small but nice. Just the chicken was not spicy enough. Service could be improved as we were the only customers. Overall a good place to eat.
