Posting a review again for the delicious food they offer. We went to have their traditional leaf platter on the occasion of a South Indian festival. They were very courteous all the time and did explain each and every dish to us as we are not too familiar with their traditional dishes.
And, everything was so fabulous and delicious that I just couldn't stop eating. I'm gonna drop by again! Wish I could add the video to this review. Adding a photo though!
This is an amazing place at Foleshill road for South Indian dishes. The customer service here is exceptional especially who served us named PRINCE took extra efforts not to disappoint us and have a wholesome experience. Make sure to come here and fall in love with Indian cuisines.
I have been to some asian restaurants in Coventry but this is worth for what you pay. Quality and quantity is worth the money. First impressions about this place is good. Warm and welcoming staff. I understood they are keen on keeping their food quality. Homemade taste of Srilankan dishes are nostalgic. The place is spacious and clean. The toilet is clean that's a specific one to be as part of a customer service.
After coming to UK, I was longing for good idly sambar. Trust me I had the best sambar idly in Coventry, Sambar taste texture and served it very hot hot. I was very happy to share a review since everything is good about this restaurant also we had chicken manchurian, mutton stuffed dosa and cofee.
Coffee is also at point. Felt like home ❤️
P.S: This was my third visit to this restaurant.
I am a regular customer of Tamil Taste of Asia. I ordered food from this restaurant almost every week. Dosa and Veg Thali are my favourite dishes and one can try. The veg thali comes with small containers of different curries and rice. The only reason I have taken a star from the review is because sometimes they deliver food late but again this is because of getting a lot of orders. I would ask anyone to order from their own website.
Best South Indian cuisine in Coventry that tastes authentic. You can feel the taste of home. Shootout to all Tamil people.... You'll not regret checking out this restaurant.
✅THE FOOD.
I tried:
1) Sambar vadai 💯
2) Fried Suvai special (Fried dish)
3) Idiyappam (Ceylon String Hoppers)
4) Chicken Roti Kothu 💯
5) Filter coffee ☕
6) Tea (with milk) 🫖
Every single dish was a delight. My mum especially loved the Sambar.
✅THE AMBIENCE.
Ambience was decent. Nothing to complain about. It was a typing South Indian fastfood set up. If you've ever been to a Tamil fastfood restaurant you'll know how it feels.
✅THE SERVICE.
Food definitely takes time to be served. But it's worth the wait as you know it's freshly made for you. And the people who served us were polite and gentle catering to all our needs.
Will definitely visit again. This is gonna be my go to South Indian restaurant.
That was a best experience of a good restaurant in UK (Coventry). Made my day with good food with joyful restaurant management. Every meal or food you order are so reasonable at price which everyone can afford.
I really appreciate the restaurant management for their effort in providing a great courtesy with customers.
Authentic south indian spicy foods with awesome flavour & texture. Have tried kizhi poratta- juz mouth watering. I could say TTOA is one of the best south indian restaurant in UK, have tried different menu's and had no disappointment's anytime. Has become my favourite dine in restaurant with great ambience and very friendly staffs. Must visit place ❤️
Authentic Indian taste. Very hospitable staff. All the dishes were very well prepared. We had a bulk order of 16 people which was managed very efficiently with good packaging.
Everything is good.. customer service is perfect. Especially cheese parotta with mutton curry. Really awesome.
Very tasty masala dosa and all the side chutneys and sambhar! Loved it ! Nice tea also
I guess the same can be said for most the menu .. friendly staff..not much of a wait time
Went to the TTOA on Wednesday after visting Coventry Transport Museum... Authentic Taste and great quality. Good customer service and very good price too.. Menu has lots of options as well.
The prices were great here so very economical.
But service could have been better.
One of the best places in Coventry to enjoy South Indian dishes. The service they offered was outstanding especially Prince who had served us. I recommend this restaurant for all those people who really wants to make their taste buds enjoy with South Indian dishes.
Their biryani is so tasty compared to other restaurants in Coventry which I have tasted so far. I felt the quantity of biryani should be provided bit more. We liked their mushroom pepper fry in the first visit and liked a lot. But on the next visit we ordered the same but not the same taste they provided. Serving time is bit slow as we have to wait a little long time to get the food. Overall I liked it. Recommended to visit.
