Just had a family meal here and I felt I needed to leave a review.
The homemade parsnip soup was delicious and was served with a lovely warm bread roll... we all chose the carvery and again the food was lovely (I don’t know many carvery’s that serve Lamb as one of the meats but this one does) infact I would say the best carvery I’ve had in a while! The puddings were yummy too. The staff were very polite and helpful and we will be returning.
One of my all time favourite pubs, great staff, good food, nice beer, beautiful surroundings and flowers/plants everywhere. Play area, animals and used by locals, horse riders, and cyclists. Oh and nice puddings.
Visited today for dads birthday, a total was 27 of us, all our food came out together and all piping hot and really nice, no complaints what so ever , the waiting staff were lovely, especially the lady whose dad was Scottish ( don't know her name), even cutting up food for the little ones, would definitely go back again and recommend it to others , X
Sunday afternoon lunch, good carvery, three roasts to pick from, good choice of vegetables. Good pint, nice ice cream to finish. Friendly service.

Loads for kids to do, slides, climbing frames,sand pit, bouncy castle and few animals.
Lovely country pub with cosy yet very busy bar , the restaurant was lovely too with excellent food and service

What a great meal we just had, not been before but would come again, but far from Australia though! 😂
The young girl serving us was great, orders came out in good time and all correct.
The Gammon Steak was gorgeous with pineapple done on the Griddle, fabulous.
I could see that other people around us were pretty happy with their night also.

Excellent menu 😋 fair prices. The landlady Ann kindly allowed us to stay in the car park with our 3 campervans for the weekend. Will be back. 😀
What a fantastic pup me and my family have been going here for 20 years, plus it's a great atmosphere. It's in a lovely countryside setting. The food is amazing. I can honestly say it's the best burger I have ever eaten. The meat was packed full of juices, flame grilled, and tender meat. My grandad had the beef lasagna he said it was absolutely amazing. everything is homemade and fresh. The staff are wonderful, great service. 5 stars all around ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ would definitely always come here.
Been a few times on different days at different times and always had great food and customer service.
Visited here for a birthday and couldn't have had better service. The ladies were all very friendly and happy to help. The food was nice and came very quickly. Would definitely come back again. Not 100% sure about the park outside. The swings were a hazard in all honesty with them swinging side to side and close to the wooden beams. Besides this, the rest was okay.
We were a party of six who met up at The Bull and Butcher. I booked a table by phone and spoke to a member of staff straight away. We had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Food was good and we didn't wait long for it to arrive. This pub has a great atmosphere and is a nice place to meet up with friends.
It's a lovely place for children too. There is a play area and, at the rear of the pub there is a field where there are donkeys and ponies. The landlady of the Bull and Butcher is a very thoughtful person because some of the donkeys and ponies have been rescued and now have a cared for life.
Thank you Bull and Butcher, we shall be back!
The pub looks beautiful at the moment, with the amazing flowers all around it. Really the most lovely time to visit. Sunday carvery was tasty and the pie of the day, lamb and mint was great. We managed to sit outside and the staff were really friendly too!
Had the lamb shank. Best Sunday dinner I’ve had in ages. Service was brilliant everyone was really nice & friendly & the kids play area is great. They’ve even got a bouncy castle. Will definitely be back soon!
Great little pub away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre. It can get busy at times but always plenty of seating. Great little play area for the kids and have been coming here for a number of years.
Nice country pub,service is good menu is OK not much choice. Kids enjoyed the bouncy castle outside but beware of the wasps they're everywhere

Atmosphere really relaxed in the country side which you can look out on. One thing spoiled it last night 2nd August. Lots of shouting from a group of people in the bar, got too loud. Would of stayed longer and got an Irish coffee after our delicious profiteroles. Such a shame... however, we will go again and hopefully just a normal noise level from the bar. ( I thought it was an argument going on)...

Really enjoyed this place, the staff were really friendly and polite the food was cooked rather fast and it tasted great. Loved the play area for my little boy too, kept him very entertained and he was so excited about being able to see the donkeys/ ponies in the fields a few yards away from where we sat.
First time eating here and it was amazing.
Food and staff were fantastic and the children's play area safe and fun.

Only had food from the outside grill as part of a day festival, but an excellent burger none the less.
Country pub. Very pleasant and friendly staff. Meals are well cooked and good value for money.
Very nice Sunday roast, but the seats in the snug were poorly repaired and needed replacing.
Good attentive service. Very tasty food at a reasonable price.
