Love, love, love this place! I used to come here daily for years before my Nanna died and she too absolutely loved the place - which says a lot as she was one hard person to please! I have never once received bad service, coffee is excellent and the paninis are to die for!! Highly recommended!!

Lovely food and coffee, much improved over the years, and a big plus for making proper, thick milkshakes - so hard to come by in cafes in the UK (which usually serve milkshakes that just taste like slightly flavoured milk). Just two points as to why I didn’t leave 5 stars: - the air conditioning never seems to be turned on. It gets so hot inside in the summer and I must have visited over a dozen times over this hot summer and the air con was never on (apart from once where I heard the manager ask for it to be turned on) which meant I didn’t fancy the hot coffee/food I came in for. Just not sure why this isn’t done automatically, can’t be good for customers or staff. - WiFi has never worked for me in years of coming here (despite multiple attempts using different kinds of mobile devices) and I’ve heard other people in there say the same too; it’s kind of essential these days in a modern cafe. Otherwise it’s pretty faultless in Sage :)

Cute cafe with friendly staff. Most customers seemed local to the area. Kid-friendly too. Scone was really good, and I also enjoyed my chai latte.

Nice cafe, friendly staff. Enjoyed my breakfast and coffee. BUT they need to reconsider their systems. Asked the young lady who brought our food for another cup of coffee. She couldn't help, she was kitchen staff. We asked a waitress, but no - you have to go to the counter. Asking for a coffee in a cafe seemed to cause perplexity.

Bustling coffee shop. Sold out of my first choice but a delicious soup and sandwich satisfied my hunger pangs. Bread lovely and fresh and plentiful filling.

Popped in as needed the ladies. Lovely decor and pretty unusual. I chose a cake to take out and i ate later. It was so nice. Carrot cake. The visual in colours and design was so appealing, tasted fresh and moist and so many good ingredients. I will be going back. The price is for the quality.

Hadn't been here before. Had a nice breakfast meeting here with a delicious flat white coffee and a sausage bagel. Was busy with a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be visiting again.

Nice modern Cafe with good range of indoor and outdoor seating , with full awning covers and screening to make it comfortable to sit outdoors. The breakfast and drinks menu is especially good, with good quality at very reasonable prices.

This cheese and cocktail evening was not run by the people who run Sage but by someone who I believe leases it for her different types of taster events. It was nice evening tasting the different cheeses and their matching cocktail, the only downside I felt was a lack of ambiance. see the menu for details. Would like to experience the next taster event though.

Food was lovely but, for the first time in many years I found I could not pay with a Bank of Scotland note. Apparently it is "foreign" currency! Funny, I was sure Scotland voted against independence!?! Guess I was wrong and we declared independence while I was travelling down from Scotland yesterday! What a way to embarrass and insult a customer from Scotland! Will not be back!
