Great food great prices and good sized portions too, nice menu with plenty to chose from. Breakfasts, lunches, dinners, starters and puddings too they have it all. Drinks menu with cocktails by the glass or jug,wines and ciders and guest ales too. Recommend the sausage and mash in Yorkshire pudding a mammoth meal

Went in for a little birthday dinner and cocktails we both had a mixed grill which was very nice everything fairly priced was fairly busy lively atmosphere, friendly staff can’t fault it
This is a gem of a pub. The staff are excellent and are always welcoming and friendly. Often pub food, especially in chains is average. This is in my opinion at another level to normal pub food. I have tried many things on the menu and have never been disappointed. I personally would rate this as excellent for atmosphere, quality and value.

We visited on our way home to Kent from Manchester for a late lunch. The restaurant was busy because of the football but when I asked about being in a quieter area, they came back to us when a table was free to offer it. Food was really tasty and good value for money, my husband and I had the chicken sharing platter and there was so much food! I had an ice cream sundae and it was delicious and the kids had massive sundaes. Staff were friendly and welcoming. But best of all was the after care we received. Unbeknownst to us, we left our son's wallet with all his birthday money in on the table. When I realised the next day we didn't have it, I started working my way through all the places we'd been. I rang the pub and spoke to Hayley. She asked me to confirm what type of wallet then said they had it and had been hoping we'd call as they knew it must belong to our little boy as she'd been working the day before and remembered us. She was so friendly and happy for us. She took our details and sent the wallet back recorded delivery (as we live too far away to pop back). I offered to reimburse her but she refused. She then checked n after to make sure we'd received it. We are so pleased there are such honest and helpful people in the world 😀
We decided after a lovely game of bowling to visit our favourite pub the bull & anchor. We did check to see when last orders for the kitchen was on their website serving hours 12-9. We arrived at 8:45pm, we informed the lady as soon as we arrived said we need to order before 9pm. Placed our order just before 9 pm. The team leader was outstanding processed our order fast so it was received in the kitchen on time. This is the not so good part. The kitchen chef decided to turn off the kitchen before last orders and refused to process our order. So disappointed and felt for the team leader as she couldn’t do enough for us offering free drinks and crisps. We thank you so much for the lovely welcome and trying your best in a very difficult situation. You was a star. 5 stars just for you .
Me and a friend were driving through and happened to see the incredible steak night that the Bull & Anchor were serving that night. The temptation was too strong and we stopped in for a meal. We did not regret it one bit, the steak was amazing and all the staff were really friendly especially a gentleman by the name of Kyle. Thank you everyone for looking after us. All the best.
Well worth visiting before the recent Coventry v Norwich match. Good food, nice selection of beer, friendly and accommodating staff, and just as important, good mixture of home and away fans with no animosity towards Norwich fans wearing Yellow and Green! Made to feel most welcome, thanks.
Didn't realise when we booked Cov City had a mid week game. Even though it was very crowded we didn't have to wait very long for dinner. We all had steak, which was beautifully cooked to how we each asked. Love the fact that you can have it on a skillet so it comes to you still sizzling.
Visited the Bull & Anchor in ash green today, wow where do I start. The moment we walked in Anna the young girl behind the bar greeted us and instantly made us feel at home and welcome. We was a party of 6 and all ordered food. Speed of service was incredible and food quality was out of this world. Sirloin steak cooked to perfection, check back as well followed by desserts offered at the table. All staff on shift are a credit to the brand , company and business. Hayley I believe was the duty manager on shift and always made sure our drinks were topped up abs anything we needed was never too much to ask. As we left another lady I believe to be another manager “caz” was on hand to ensure our tab was payed hassle free and even ordered us taxis too. Will be coming back again and again. Team Bull & Anchor take a bow!
We came as a group of 9 and all had fantastic meals and the service was outstanding. We will definitely visit on a regular basis

I went to the bull and anchor with my son for lunch I have to say what a lovely experience from start to finish nothing was too much trouble and both ladies serving I think they were called sue and caz were so obliging. food was hot and tasty we both had the gammon and egg we will definitely be returning

Cheap food, cheap beer, what more do you want! Extensive menu all good grub, nothing fancy just good quality for a reasonable price, not many pubs like this anymore. Plus, always showing the football or other sports on big screens, just what's required during a family gathering 😉
