I came across Rupali quite randomly when I was looking for restaurants near the University of Warwick. Fantastic reviews on Google made me decide to visit, reinforced by overwhelming praise from our taxi driver.
On a street in Tile Hill, Rupali looks rather unimpressive from the outside. However inside it is decently done up. The booth concept is very unique to an Indian restaurant and makes you instantly comfortable. We were served very politely and hospitably. There is a strange rule that starters and mains need to be ordered together, although they were served with reasonable intervals.
Vegetarian starter platter had a great onion bhajia and paneer tikka but the samosa was average. Did not seem fresh. Paneer Tikka Handi was good but a little too dry. Dal Tadka was amazing. One of the best I have had. Cheese naan was very rich, also very heavy.
Rupali has a well stocked bar and reasonably priced alcohol. Food can seem a tad overpriced, but was worth it. I really enjoyed my experience and will be coming back for a comfort meal more than once!
A nice, peaceful, clean and hygienic restaurant in Coventry. Tastes just like in India! Super fast service! Awesome!

Most Amazing. This restaurant it the most beautiful I ever been to. The service was great, the food was delicious. I was incredibly happy through out the evening. And I most definitely will go again.

An absolutely wonderful restaurant. The service was impeccable. They were so polite and helpful and attentive without it feeling pushy. Swift service, but not too swift. And you could tell the meals had been made for us, as you could customise the ingredients. It was such nice food too, full of flavour but without being too spicy. We had a pint each, with poppadoms, and a main each, and it came to £36 so seemed reasonable pricing, if maybe slightly above average. But the food and service were absolutely worth it.
I'd really recommend you give Rupali a try!

Such a beautiful restaurant, I wish we had one in our town. Great selection, amazing people, so attentive and forgiving of those who didn’t know what to order. Genuine people and very tasty food, very well presented. Thank you so much for a wonderful night
The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was okay to good, but I have to say they are a little bit too expensive for me to dine in the restaurant again. The reason for this is if I got the same food as a takeaway it would have saved me 25% off the bill. Dining in should not be a 25% premium especially when you will pay a premium for drinks as well.
I was happy with what I had but disappointed with the cost.
Seemed expensive but food was very nice. Be careful if you have a big group as they are not keen on people splitting the bill over multiple payments.
Amazing service 10/10. Lovely food the best out of the Indian restaurant in Coventry. Really friendly. Atmosphere is authentic. Definitely will go back for my Indians with my family. Staff is really helpful seated perfectly. Drinks was spot on and popadams were really good with the chutneys.
