We have visited every week since it reopened. We get great and friendly service. The meals are really nice and price is competitive. Nice décor and nice ambience. Only ever had one problem. Two weeks ago the chips were dreadful but that aside we are very happy indeed with the phantom coach

The food could be better. My veg lasagne was just mush and my partners fish was slimy. But the atmosphere and the pub itself were lovely.
Great meal well enjoyed by all four of us. Great friendly staff. A bit busy at the bar due to a party from the crematorium across the road soon sorted. Will definitely come again.

Apart from a little confusion about what time the kitchen was closing, everything was excellent. Service was good and friendly, food was good and the newly refurbished layout and decor is very nice.

Nice pub and nice food (I ordered the Chilli Double Burger with an upgrade of sweet potato fries). The staff were very polite and friendly and the chef came to check on us to make sure we were happy with our meals. I would recommend visiting here if you're in the area.

Prior to attending a funeral we had a bite to eat and a beverage. The steak meal we had was very nice, the beverage was wet and fresh. After attending the function at the crematorium we returned for another beverage. I found the establishment clean and tidy and despite a shortage of staff that day
