Attended a party yesterday absolutely had a lovely time. The meal was beautiful and the service was fantastic. Thankyou to all staff highly recommend the concert room for family functions xx
It's a lovely friendly club .with a lot of different events going on with a pool table and darts and a function room .And a good menu .Would certainly recommend
I moored up close to the club. It had come recommended from a few of the locals at the Greyhound pub.
The sign outside the club indicated incorrect information. First, at this time, there is no chef, and hence no food. Second the opening times, during the week it's five o'clock. Four on a Friday, two on Saturday and twelve on a Sunday.
As to the previous comment about clicky. It's a locals club, but I didn't find this intimidating. I watched the last two hours of the Ashes. Couldn't ask for a better atmosphere.
Monday about five thirty there is a chippy outside.
Personally I can't fault the welcome I received.
Went to a friend's wedding and was pleasantly surprised. Nice venue. Great helpful staff. Parking a bit on the small side but a fair bit on the road and surrounding streets.
A great club with a lovely, friendly staff
Fantastic club amazing atmosphere great venue for concerts and parties
An truly lovely local place that felt like home when you walk in. I was there on one of the hottest heat wave days and their incredibly well priced cold ale was a very welcome thing.
Massive function rooms if you wanted to host something there, and I imagine at a reasonable rate.
Just beware of the Geese that tend to live in the car park…they are the real owners, may need more than ID to get in…
As Treasurer of the Coventry Model Boat Club, we held our late Xmas "Skittle Night" at the Ansty Club and what a great night we all had. What with the three different skittle games and great kitchen cooked food to order, what more could you want for a great, group night out!
Great relaxed atmosphere.... Great beer and wine friendly staff.... and there a always something of the wall going on
Nice food and friendly staff and a friendly atmosphere and also stage some great events. Recently went to the firework display and it was very good
Passing though in a narrowboat stopped for the evening and asked if they were still doing food. they said they were not and as I went to walk away the barmaid said i could help myself to some leftover sandwiches so I thanked her an ordered a beer and helped myself. a great gesture as all the local pubs were not doing food.. ended up playing snooker with a local and had a great evening.. such a warm friendly place.
We had our little one's 1st at Ansty and without any doubt this is the best place ever in Coventry. The arrangements they've made were 1st class and at very high standards.
They have a lovely bunch of stuff who will be around to help you all the time with a smile on their face. Lots of options for drinks and doom bar was my favourite!
Located just on the outskirts of Coventry, this place is just perfect if you need to have a get together or a party. All the guests who've come to the party had a great time and enjoyed the atmosphere at this club.
The best part of the whole experience was their manager Sarah. She's an absolute super star who's been helpful throughout. Sarah was so accomodating and flexible with all our requests for the party. I just cannot thank her enough for all her support and without her we wouldn't have had a good time. She's the best!
I recommend this place 100% and I guarantee you will not regret.
Thank you Sarah and the team. Looking forward to meet you all soon.
We stayed there for the weekend in our motorhome so we could see family, the atmosphere was amazing, the food was amazing, everyone was friendly and down to earth, we met some lovely people, and the staff were awesome, they couldn't do enough for us, we had some good laughs, felt completely at home and will definitely be back
The food here was generally of a high standard, albeit I had a problem with overcooked meat on one visit. The staff are very friendly and certainly made amends by offering a free sweet for both myself and my wife. The restaurant is set in working club surroundings, so lacks the ambience of something more upmarket, however prices are very reasonable.
The club is very friendly and helpful. We had a beer and skittles night
Excellent food and great service. The ladies of my group were very happy. Thank you. Jean Kelsey social secretary towns women's guild. Ernesford grange.
Close to the canal, chatty and friendly bar staff, good beer. They also have "security geese" as another canal user called them

Had mainly dealt with Anne-Marie by telephone organising a surprise 30th. On the night Anne-Marie and her team could not have been anymore helpful! I paid for the catering services and the hot/cold buffet provided was of a good standard and quality.
I would recommend as a place to hold a function in the future. Many thanks!
Hired the room out for our 40 anniversary great night bar staff really good and very helpful.
Great club handy for boaters
