It was cold outside and I was hungry! I had an hour to kill... I glanced up to see Cafe Italia looking very inviting, warm and friendly.. It really was all those things, the service was excellent what a great way to pass time and the food was superb! Yum! I will be back with the rest of family! :D

Cafe Italia are always consistent in what they serve. Food always tastes great with lots to choose from on menu. Love their lasagne, great portion sizes, lovely salad, chips and garlic bread. Definitely can’t finish it myself so 100% value for money! Definitely recommend.
I do really like this place, I've never been disappointed. The coffee probably my favourite in town, much nicer than the big chain brands. I ordered a pizza, it was amazing really fresh, full flavour. Staff are always friendly, very welcome, and happy to serve. The appeared clean and tidy. My only criticism of this place is the toilet, as it's 1 unisex w/c. But don't let that put you off as this place is full of charm.
Nice little Italian restaurant that serves awesome food that tastes very good. Must try. Good place to visit with family, and it's kid friendly. Good options are available from breakfast until dinner. Reasonable prices and portion sizes.
My friend and I ordered the vegetarian and meat full English breakfast. They were delicious with everything prepared and cooked to perfection - with high quality ingredients. At 9.30am it was quiet, but by 10.30 it was pretty busy. Great service, too. Highly recommended. Returned in July. Again, the presentation, price and quality were excellent. The Chicken Supreme sandwich was a taste sensation. My partner wanted a glass of tap water with ice: they charge £1 for ice but, personally, I don't think that's a good business strategy

We were a group of 12 and this was one of the few places that could accommodate us and reserved our table as well. Staff were very polite, professional, well mannered and not pushy in trying to get us to order more than we needed. Food was made quickly, presented well, was hot and tasted delicious too. The lighting is a bit dim, but sufficient for the atmosphere I believe. Staff were also considerate and ensured all sauces, plates, cutlery etc were on the table before the food and they got a few extra plates for us as we had said that we would be sharing some of the dishes. Overall really impressed. Also, the toilet was clean and well maintained. I really loved the table as it looked like it was made from the truck of a tree! Keep up the good work.
I came for lunch with a friend and our children. I was surprised I had never been before. It is such a lovely place, with a wonderful atmosphere, attentive staff and fantastic food. We all loved our meals and were pleased with the portion sizes. It is great value for money. We will be back

An eclectic restaurant in terms of decor and a classic restaurant in terms of food. Never had a bad meal here. Generous side portions good choice of food from full English breakfasts to classic Italian dishes. Really good choice of drinks. Staff are attentive and always happy to accommodate my request (I can be a bit picky).
Excellent food, great prices and friendly staff. I had the pancakes with chocolate and strawberries, it was amazing. My partner had the full English which looked very tasty too. Food was quickly on our table after ordering and the price was very reasonable. Overall 9/10
wonderful place to eat, food is reasonable priced and it has a lot of vegetarian and halal options too! (not as much vegan options) portion is more than enough and service is wonderful as well :) would recommend the cannelloni and lasagna!
Best value for a Full English Breakfast that comes with tea! Super reasonable price, considering that it is located within the city centre area.
After traveling down here to Coventry since I am here for 4 days seeing family from Leeds. The food is amazing 🤩🤤 and staff are very good too. Definitely will be coming back
Quick service but the steak is awful it’s not fresh it’s bitter and sour weird taste.I ordered medium rare and here is the medium rare steak it’s should called over cooked 8pounds for mini pancakes? Not going to order again. Only the Hot chocolate always so good!
love this place,have been coming here for a few years now and the breakfasts are the one.I started coming here for the cappuccinos then the mixed Berry tea always served in a tea pot so can get two cups out of it.
It's a lovely quaint place that offers a range of Italian bistro style dishes with some odd British and other choices (e.g., falafel wrap, burgers, lamb curry).
It's got a nice central location and while it is not the posh restaurant providing fine dining food, it's a superb place for a hearty meal that doesn't fail. Some options are better than other, and Calzone is definitely high on the list. They've got great English breakfast, and Turkish breakfast also deserves a mention.
There are few tables outside which is nice if you'd like a coffee or lunch outside bit it's worth mentioning that it's next to a busy street, so don't expect peace and quiet there.
In general, a place that's definitely worth a visit!
