First time I have been here , came for my sisters birthday meal with family and friends and really enjoyed it food very good and I'm a food snob ! I found atmosphere fabulous very friendly and welcoming and smiley staff too !! makes such a difference would recommend and will defiantly be returning
We went here last night as part of a big group for our friends birthday meal and it was absolutely lovely. Service was top notch too. Well done for getting it spot on even though the pub was packed. Great pub 👍
I went to the millpool for my husbands birthday and my 2 sons i must say the food and service was outstanding i really would recommend the millpool for people who enjoy good food and atmosphere
Lovely food and friendly service. We came at a busy time and my children are very fussy but everything came out exactly how they wanted it. I would especially recommend the Sunday lunch- lamb shank and the beef were both delicious.😋
Been to the millpool for food a number of occasions an each time the food was excellent,service good an didn't have to wait long for the food to arrive either,lovely family pub ,the Sunday lunches are excellent as well only one fault with that I do like my veg a bit softer than its severed.

Really enjoyed my meal but especially liked the fact they had a separate gluten free menu which catered for my sons needs.
Spent new year's eve at the millpool. Great night. Great atmosphere. Band was good. Plenty of staff on so didn't wait long at the bar. Empty glasses on table were collected quickly and all staff were very happy and chatty. Well done and thank you for a great night.
Booked private dining last night for surprise 30th. Excellent food and service. Room lovely was able to go in the afternoon to put balloons up etc. Highly recommend.
Have been several times before. I have organised meals here for neighbours and work colleagues and the food has always been good. We took my disabled brother in law yesterday lunch time. Staff were so good to us changing tables to make it easier for access and rest arranging furniture for us. The meal was as usual brilliant and the staff were so attentive and helpful. Thankyou to all the staff who were there yesterday.

Went Thursday lunch time, nice & quiet. The bar man gave my son a selection box as soon as we walked in. There were celebration chocolates on the bar. The steak & ale pie was the best i have ever had. Lovely fluffy topping with loads of meat that was so tender, extra gravy in a little pot & the chips were light & delicious. Definitely come again �
First time visiting with a friend from London, was recommended by a friend & also great reviews on Google too. Arrived without reservation, and whilst they were fully booked, the manager was amazing and managed to accommodate us in an alternative way and this made our day (hence why I’m leaving a review). The Sunday roast was amazing. Really filling and delicious. No complaints.
Had a baby shower yesterday with 15 guests and the whole team were very helpful. We were able to decorate the room fully and the buffet food was plentiful, delicious and on time. We had a lovely afternoon, fantastic service and at a fantastic price. Thanks John and team for a perfect event.

We love The Millpool! Reservations is Definitely a must (at least on weekends) as they are booked solid. Food is very good, service is fast and friendly. There are 3 different areas to dine in not including the private party area which is another large room.
We celebrated a "quiet" birthday with starters, burgers, and wine! They brought out a piece of Ultimate Chocolate cake with a lit candle which was a delight! I highly recommend The Millpool!
Decided to go to The Millpool for lunch to celebrate my 50th birthday. Place seems like a popular place. The food is nice & compared to other similar places the lunchtime portions they are on the smaller scale but by the same token quite filling.
As for the service all I can say is that it was a bit cold & unwelcoming & rushed. Ordering drinks & food felt as if we the customer were a nuisance & the waitress couldn't remember what was ordered on several occasions, despite just taking our orders. I get that the girls are busy & probably want to do as many covers as possible during lunchtime.
The music was also a bit too loud & my dad had to go outside because he could not cope with the volume or choice of music as his in his 70s. The music should really be back round music level & not disco considering it was lunchtime.
Place is nicely decorated throughout.
Overall not bad value but I would say that your service lets it down a bit unless you're a regular I suppose.
This was our first visit. We had to sit outside because of our dogs but the weather was nice and there were plenty of tables. All takes were clear. The menu was varied and the staff were very friendly. The food was tasty and came out quickly. It would be great if dogs were allowed inside but didn't detract from our experience this time.
I am an 82 year old lady, I have eaten fish all over the country. I can honestly say that the fish we had today was the best one I have ever had, the peas and chips were perfect. I don't know who your chef is, but don't ever lose him or her, thank you so much
Great pub with delicious food and tasty cocktails. I was there with my best friend to celebrate my birthday. Music was great, atmosphere nice. I will definitely come back there for a meal as I saw plenty of served meals during my stay there - they looked amazing.
Decided to go for Sunday lunch on spur of the Moment , rang Millpool and Jamie sorted a Table for 9 of us inc 2 x toddlers. Although busy service was great and so was the food. We had a couple of dietry requirements but not a problem. Many thanks again Jamie and his team on the day, Great as normal 👍

Nice roast on a Sunday, seating inside and out / food not served outside every day so be aware.
Had lunch with my wife at the Millpool a month ago and all went well. Returned yesterday and all was good again, friendly and helpful staff and the fish is the best I've ever had in Coventry. Everywhere was clean and tidy including the "facilities".
Food is not bad ..I like the Sunday roast dinner. And few of their starters are good . But if you don't like bone in the chicken . Don't order chicken meal. Half chicken comes with bone in it.
Overall, recommend to try but I won't go again. By the way, parking is free at the restaurant car park.
Group of seven guys got together here last night, food was great, service spot on, a good time was had by all, be sure to book as they were very busy.
Best fish n chips in town. Met a fella named rich Turner, nicest guy, gave us Americans lots of history about the area and the pub. Be sure to buy him a pint. Definitely family friendly
We use there Function room for Meetings and the facilities and Services are fantastic. The Food and Drinks are amazing the Service is truly amazing. Would highly recommend this establishment.
