We had the most amazing afternoon tea, celebrating family graduations. Kasha opened the Old Lamp Room especially for us and provided the most fanatic food. We appreciated this so much Kasha. Thank you for the 'extra' tea for Mum, you are a very special lady, with a very special and magical place.
Absolutely beautiful place! This little hidden gem is definitely worth a stop at. The place was rather busy when we arrived over lunchtime yesterday which, in my eyes, speaks volumes! We managed to get a table in the window and had our orders taken relatively quickly given how busy it was. Food and drinks were lovely. I had an open sandwich and my friend had the sweet potato salad. We were both very happy with our choices and polished off a slice of raspberry cake afterwards. Lots of choice in the cake cabinet too made it tricky to choose but the generous slice was scrumptious! Staff were fab and very attentive and the place itself is so quaint and beautiful - everything has been thought out and carefully placed. We are already considering our next trip there! Little gem of a place! Food is lush ๐ staff extremely helpful and very friendly. Busy little place booking is recommended you will not be disappointed. Will be returning again very soon !
Absolutely lovely little eatery, went on a busy Saturday morning without a reservation but got seated immediately in the beautifully decorated garden room. The staff are all lovely, even turning on a heater to warm the room up for us. The food is second to none, one of the best breakfasts I've had in a while.
We have had several fabulous lunches here - a mixture of off the menu and afternoon tea.
We recently had an afternoon tea take away and it was absolutely delicious. We had a few dietary requirements, all of these were met with no problems.
The food was beautifully fresh, tasty and presented beautifully.
It was a real treat and I can't recommend this place enough.

Called in for breakfast on the way home from a little break. We hadn't booked and there were 5 of us plus the dog. The staff were extremely friendly and our breakfasts were delicious. Will definitely pop in if ever in the area again. The cakes and scones looked delicious.

Venue is lovely so quirky however disappointed with lunch offerings (please provide things that are not bread based).
My friend doesnโt eat bread so basically paid ยฃ10.95 for 3 fish fingers which were nice but in my opinion on the pricey side.
I bought a piece of cake for my husband which he said was good ๐
Iโll return but only for cuppa/cake unless lunch menu changes ๐ค
