Went to the Current Bun for a reunion and decided to eat whilst we were there. Absolutely fantastic! I had the ribs which were plentiful and so good, my mate had the pie of the day and loved it. Great selection of real ales too.

We had a great meal during mid-week. Staff were really friendly, tables were full of people eating and drinking. Prices were fair. Both my sister and I had the lamb burger, it was delicious.

Lovely local pub, really friendly & accommodating staff. We’ve recently moved into the area, and eaten here twice. We’ve tried the kebab (delicious) and a roast dinner. The menus had good variety and price points, and if you have kids they do smaller portions. Worth a visit, and I’m sure you’ll love it !

Great little pub, which was recommended to us by a local. Originally we were going to eat in Exton but due to Extonbury, the pub was closed. Glad that we took the recommendation for The Sun Inn. The food was delicious and service excellent. We were asjed about allegines befire we ordered, always a goid sign that they care. Our men had sausage and mash with resh veg which they said was delicious, 3 sausages plenty of veg and perfect mash. Also provided with an extra jug of gravy which was very appreciated. My friend and I shared a camenbert starter along with sweet potato fries, more than enough for us. Unusual decor too. We really enjoyed our lunch, thank you to the friendly, efficient staff.

Been here for food twice. They have good old pub grub but also some great little surprises like pizza and kebabs and they are delicious. Sunday roast is lovely too. Good selection of ales and not a bad Guinness either.

An excellent Sunday Lunch in a lovely, friendly country pub. Generous and tasty; the meat was juicy and well-seasoned - sadly a rarity. Lots of veg. Extra gravy. The stuffing ball was a highlight! Good, on-point staff. Dog-friendly. Recommended.

Went for Sunday lunch. We had home made mushroom soup which was delicious. I had pan fried chicken breast and husband had the beef. Vegetables were lovely as was the mash and roast. The beef was a little too bloody for Reg, but that's just personal preference . Would highly recommend.

Lovely pub in Cottesmore. Had a v pleasant meal. The landlord was v helpful and looked after us and our large dog. V nice steak and ale pie with mash and my wife had v good vegetarian option. Would have given 5 but had to wait a while for the bill and which was provided to us in 2 parts and was all a bit of a mess with the girl behind the bar. That said definitely worth visiting if in Cottesmore

Lovely food and big pub. Lovely waitress, but we did wait quite a while for food. She was very apologetic.
