I really like this place. It's just hearty and wholesome food, no frills, no farty nonsense. Just good scran. The staff are consistently friendly and clearly know what they're doing. The atmosphere is a little bit like being in your aunt's house, a chill vibe. I went out for a vape and the waitress came out to me to tell me my food was on the table. Love that. There was three of us, we all had a main meal, shared two desserts between us, had a drink each and a coffee each = £50! Tidy!

Popped in this evening for late food and they managed to find us a table. Service excellent and the pie of the day was fantastic - one of the best home made pies we've ever had. Will definitely return..

Excellent food but would prefer it served on a plate! Served on a too small wooden tray, with a green paper napkin (which became soggy and very Lettuce like!) Service was slow due to being very short staffed in the kitchen. All staff was very pleasant though.

Super friendly staff and a great choice of beer. Some home made sausage rolls went down a treat as a tasty snack with our pints. Not tried the food yet as the pub isn't local to where we live and only visit after a shoot at a local ground, which is a shame as it has a great atmosphere and would go more if it was closer

A fantastic pub in the centre of Cotgrave. A gin bar to die for, friendly and efficient service and very good food. We were looked after so well at a recent get together after a funeral. There is a good car park and an area for the kids to have a kick about to let off a bit of steam. We loved it and highly recommend it.

Visited here this evening for the pub quiz for the first time. A very lovely atmosphere in a really nice village pub. We were made to feel very welcome as a new group of quizzers by fellow teams and Ian, who was a great quizmaster and came to us at the end to ask us if we had a good time. We’ll definitely be back to take part again soon! Thank you for a great evening.

Delightful pub/restaurant. Friendly and attentive staff. Food was hot, served timely and nice. A larger burger menu, and most items you’d expect on a pub menu. The very pleasant surprise we’re the sharing boards, which were tasty, plentiful and with a group makes a great starter. Food was reasonably priced.

Lovely little village pub, was really busy with a nice selection of different people, families , groups of friends, people of way home from work etc.
Lovely and friendly atmosphere. Only went into the bar area as had my dog with me but seemed nice.
