My partner and I were travelling home from the south coast and needed a spot to stop for lunch. We came across this little gem right off the M1. Tucked away but definitely worth a visit. My partner and I went for a quiche with salad. I had sun dried tomato and mozzarella, my partner had chorizo and mushroom. Both were fresh and filling. They also had a nice selection of cakes for the road too.

Great cafe, with bike stuff shop next door. Nice coffee and cake. Lovely atmosphere. Parking and access a bit gravely, but nothing too horrendous.

If you're travelling up the M1 or the A14, this is definitely a great place to stop rather than a service area. Service was quick and friendly & dogs are welcome too (there is even a friendly dog wandering around the cafe & outside). There is seating inside and out & the cafe is really quirky & interesting, with a log burner & pictures on the walls showing the site as it was before renovation. The food was delicious & in just the right proportions to leave a little room for some fresh handmade cake. Gluten free bread, cake and oat milk available. The soup was also gluten free. When we were there there were also quite a few motorbikes parked up to have a look at plus a mb clothing shop to browse - what's not to like!

My wife enjoyed the home cooked style of food as did myself and our son. The location is not really conventional and the food preparation area quite small so well done for being able to serve nice food. As it is in a rural setting the abundance of flies in this hot spell of weather is not a good look for the business. Everything is quite rustic so do not expect perfect surroundings inside or outside.

This is such a lovely cafe in a gorgeous little spot without any heirs & graces but bags of charm. The food is always really good & made with local produce the ladies that serve you friendly & chatty. I rarely eat meat but they always yummy vegetarian options. The quiches are my absolute favourite but everything I've tried has been good & today we ate off their brunch menu which came with delicious home made baked beans! I'd recommend having pudding too as their cakes are particularly nice! All in all this is one of favourite places to visit locally, we often walk here with our little dog, who's also welcomed with a drink!

I’ve frequented this fine establishment a few times now. Every time I’ve been met with a lovely smile and conversation with Annie. Coffee and cakes are lovely too. They even helped me out when my bike wouldn’t start, on their day off! Wonderful people and place to stop.

This little café in Cotesbach must be one of the best kept secrets on the small island (Great Britain). Just a stone throw from the M1 it lies nestled within a few other businesses in a lovely yard which probably once belonged to a farm. There's outside and inside seating, the latter lovingly decorated, the first offering a nice atmosphere. Every day there are homemade specials, cakes, sandwiches, vegetarian, vegan - from their own gardens and regional producers. Our sandwiches were to die for and the cake afterwards completely unnecessary but unavoidable and so yummy. Will be back on our way home. Thanks for the hospitality!

What an absolutely wonderful little hidden gem! The staff we're so accommodating, chatty and friendly. The food, which majority of its ingredients are organic and sourced from local producers or their own garden, is absolutely delicious! Also their flat white is spot on! Can't wait to go back when I'm passing by on the M1!
