Stunning pub which looks like it has been refurbished throughout but has still retained much of its historical characteristics. We visited for an evening meal. Service was excellent and staff friendly. Food was good though I found my pork collar dish a little tough and chewy. Food is also a little o
A really great place, they have put a lot of thought into the look and feel of this place. Our 2nd time visiting and it was very pleasant. There are nice walks with amazing views nearby which are worth doing. There is some parking in the pubs car park but mostly it its along the small country road,
A really good country pub with rooms. The decor and furnishings are absolutely beautiful. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and the food is delicious! If you're ever in South Somerset or North Dorset it's well worth a visit!
We stayed 3 nights in mid May 2023 and even after that brief time it felt like home. The staff were unfailingly lovely, the food was amazing (every night) and the bed was one of the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in. It has been incredibly well styled and is set in the most glorious countryside,
It's the first time we've been to the Queen's since their refurbishment and what an amazing job they have done. It looks amazing. Our evening lived up to the setting. We had nibbles to start - all of them. Then we both had fish - one whole Plaice and fish and chips followed by Sorbetto and Affogato.
Absolute gem known and loved by all in the community. We stayed here for 5 nights after our parents visited last year for just a few nights. The food and cocktails are AMAZING, staff is lovely (and Harry is a great mixologist), and all provide amazing recommendations (Thanks Jay!) for things to do i
I first visited the Queens Arms in 1988 & the food was amazing then. Now all these years later we had the most fabulous lunch in the stunning garden. Amazing location, service, excellent wine & exceptional quality food which lived up to the fantastic menu.
Fantastic stop over to break the journey down to st Ives. Lovely dinner, service and breakfast. Lovely spot. Rooms also good overall. Would recommend and come back!
Set in rural area, seems busy. Lovely dining rooms, good choice of local cider. Outdoor courtyard seating. Lovely breakfast menu, had no cost continental included rhubarb yoghurt, & overnight oats with Lovely citrus peel. Parking on road most nights, small car park. Biggest issue tea tray in room no
This is a delightful destination pub/inn. My room was beautiful. In the morning they delivered fresk milk to the door to my room for coffee/tea. The restaurant bar is fantastic.
We recently went to the restaurant for a birthday celebration. The food was superb and the menu was interesting and varied.
Had an amazing Sunday lunch. Really lovely food and great service. Suspect that parking could be challenging on a busy day but would recommend for a lunch 100%
The best pub food I've ever had - superb and generous servings, including plenty of gluten free options and lovely kids meals. Even better was the welcome we received from the team - they couldn't have been kinder or more helpful, in a really genuine way. Highly recommended.
An excellent establishment for both food and rooms. It makes the Newt look 2nd class; indeed the Newt could take some notes!
