This is a great place that has excellent food. The menu does not have a lot of items and it is a bit expensive but the food is worth it.

In recent years, this place has changed from a small local Pub with lots of storage space and a large garden, to a larger Pub & café with a good-sized carpark and a riverside-feel Beer garden, except the river is a railway cutting. They absolutely do not claim a river - it just feels like that sort
A very relaxed and friendly pub that's just been redone recently and benefits greatly from it. The owners and staff are lovely, the prices are very reasonable and the food tasty. The garden is being redone for the summer and looks like it will be very child friendly

I've been here a couple of times, always tasty food and good service, doesn't seem too busy when I've been but it's usually in the week so not too much of a surprise. Beer is good, food is tasty and reasonably priced, happy days :-)

Excellent home made food. Real fully in cased pies. Delicious burgers made each day. Well kept beers and a good selection. Lovely separate dining area. Plenty of outside space and ample parking.
