Brilliant place, the food is superb and the staff are wonderful. Mrs Hine is brilliant and lights the wonderful hotel up. I can highly recommend this hotel 10 ++++++
We went to The Corse Lawn for a long family lunch. The space was really nice. It was large, quiet, and had a soft breeze. The staff was attentive and welcoming. The bread and starters were very good and what I'd expect from an establishment of their reputation. The entrées and desserts were good, but I felt they left more to be desired. I'd certainly come back here, it's great for big tables. The outside is also lovely.

Really nice place. Quite old fashioned decor but that is the theme of the place. There were lots of older guests and we felt quite young in comparison (we are 38) but it was not an issue in any way.
We really enjoyed the pool. Was a bit chilly in there as the area around the pool isn't heated. But was still great fun and the pool was warm.
Superb hotel with a great family atmosphere. Excellent food and a real quality service. We will go again and would recommend to anyone who's looking for something special.
Lovely location with little lake and lovely grounds. Bar and Bistro must be worth a try; on a summer Sunday lunchtime the outside tables are idyllic.
