We had a lovely little brekkie here. It was a little cool eating as the weather wasn't very good. Dogs are allowed in. But it never bothered us. There are small gifts to buy also. We intended to walk round the lake after our breakfast However the weather was too inclement. Parking is pay and display, which is a little annoying in the middle of nowhere if you're using the cafe.

Lovely cafe looking over the lake. Coffee was delicious, I had the iced coffee. We didn't have good but it looked amazing. Would highly recommend. Dog ice creams, cold drinks and cakes available. As well as other gift items.

Very helpful staff and the food is delicious. Very quick delivery of our menu selection. Credit to the young lady on the counter during our visit recently that expressed a high level of customer service to our visiting family.

We sat indoors due to rain, dogs are allowed. Order and pay at the counter then it will be brought over to your table when ready. Kept very clean, beautiful food, have gifts to purchase and the staff very friendly and welcoming. There is a small play park outside for children, the car parking has to be paid for at the machine before entering the café as you are on the property where you can fish, walk etc you will need to have an idea how long you will be staying for. Toilet facilities are not in the café but in the block of buildings outside, we didn't use them so cannot comment. In my powered wheelchair I could get into the cafe and my husband just had to move a chair at a table for my wheelchair.

Nice cafe with a decent selection of summer snacks (very nice ice cream 🍨😁) and drinks. Clean and tidy with pleasant staff, not overly crowded on a Friday afternoon. Good outside seating area that overlooks kids activity area. After boating or a cycle ride a nice place to relax and refuel.

After a good walk around the lake good coffee and food is what is needed and you certainly get that here!! The breakfasts are fantastic, great coffee and a fantastic cake selection.

My dad and I both had a bacon bap, cake and drink each, all of which was lush. It was honestly the best bacon bap I think I've ever had, I love the place!

Stopped off on bike ride before doing a loop of the lake. It was during the day mid week and service was really quick and friendly. We had cake which was really well made and tasty. Everything came out quickly and the facilities looked clean and tidy, plus there is a play zone for kids. The trail around the lake was great for bikes and generally a pleasant experience all round. Not too pricey.

The food is lovely. All cooked fresh and home made. I had the pancakes with bacon and syrup. Just one suggestion I would make is that the syrup be maple syrup instead and don't serve the butter. Otherwise, lovely ☺️ There's also a selection of lovely gifts in the shop and it's dog friendly. Would recommend a visit.

Coffee and cake to die for - plenty of other options and top quality ice creams - also had outdoor seating.

Nice cafe with reasonably priced pasties! Regrettably yet another parking charge simply to access the cafe. This has become a wide spread greedy practice in this part of the country. Still, the pasties were very good. Dog friendly ( on lead).
