Before or after your walk along the coastline have a cuppa and a cornish pastie . Easy parking and not expensive with wonderful views and excellent places to watch the wildlife.
We had pasties, iced coffee and scones and it was all delicious! Prices are reasonable and there is plenty of sitting available. The location is beautiful and is a great way to start/finish a hiked in the surrounding area.
Lovely cottage Café close to the coastal path.
We through the path from theatre to Land End, it might be the 1/3 point of whole path. Nice lady served us, with creamy latte and Cornish pastry, beef and onion 🧅, very tasty!!!
So surprising to find this really lovely cafe which felt like middle of nowhere! Staff were friendly and helpful! Really pleased with vegan options available! Our children really enjoyed their ice creams!
We walked the coastal path and the first time we stopped here was for a quick coffee, Oat milk was available and not only was it offered hot but also given a good shake before added. Also available were some wonderful hand made #vegan flapjacks. Really glad we did stop as the cafe at Porthcurno was closed for the 2021 season.
We liked it so much we drove down to the cove the following day to try the Vegan Pasties. They were well worth the periodic reversing back up the narrow lanes to let oncoming cars pass (the road is narrow). The cove was beautiful when we visited and if the rumours are true was apparently a location featured in the TV series of Poldark.
The staff at Porthgwarra Cove Cafe are running a top notch establishment and thankfully are catering for those among us that like to choose a vegan food option when eating out.
What a pleasant surprise to find a cafe at Porthgwarra, while walking a circular walk along the coast from Poligigga. Coffee was excellent. Pasties were very good (but not as good as Philips's). But you won't find a better location to have coffee and pastie.
Had the brownie and orange cake. Was absolutely amazing! Staff were super friendly too. Would recommend it as a stop if you’re hiking the coastal path.
Good food and nice and peaceful location. Plan to spend half an hour here and recover. Loved it
Hidden gem! A must-visit cafe with tasty coffee and delicious cakes, sandwiches and more. Add to that, the friendly service and it’s a winner. This year it is opening in the winter from Sunday to Weds 10am to 3pm. Will definitely visit again.
It was incredible, affordable and delicious but unfortunately the toilets were disgusting and that really let it down. Parking was OK but I didn’t mind. Would happily visit again. Stunning views.
We always walk here from Treen along the coastal path via Porthcurno and the Minack. The walk and the café are wonderful. Lovely staff. Good coffee and cakes and snack lunches. Worth several miles of walking for this. Fantastic location.
Been here before about 3 years ago but the cream teas are just as awesome. Beautiful scenery and amazing tunnel down to the small beach below.
Such beautiful spot but tight road so do not think to go down there with a big vehicle , we grabbed a take away and went down to be greeted by a couple of funny seals xx
Beautiful place to visit. Road is ia bit tight in some places but worth it. Small cove. Walk from here to nanjizal cove worth it good on foot. Couple of hills not to bad. Came back and used the cafe coffee and a snack. Just went down perfectly.
Lovely place to visit & have a cuppa. Cakes & pasties (after 11am) are fresh & tasty. Good variety. Ice creams too. Then go watch the birds & seals
The staff are really friendly. They also serve fantastic pasties and top notch coffee.
Stunning beach. Tiny car park.
Staff in the cafe (last year) were quite hostile when I asked them what time they opened. The one member of staff in a vw camper was especially hostile and tailgate us all the way down to the car park.
Best vegetarian sausage rolls I've ever had! Lovely staff within amazing selection of food at really reasonable prices. Cannot recommend enough
