Lovely cafe with home cooked food, family friendly and also accepts well behaved dogs. The cafe is on the first floor of the mill with steep wooden steps, however there is also outside picnic benches where the food and drink is served in take out cups.
Great coffee and lite bite location. Nice selection of savoury and delicious cakes including Vegan options. Friendly staff made for a very pleasant visit. On the doorstep Heatherslaw Mill, Crafts and Heatherslaw steam railway.
The staff were very obviously under pressure when we visited yesterday (15th October), with just 2 staff serving and cooking a huge range of meals and snacks. Yes, we had to wait as it was very busy, but well worth the wait. The cheese scones were divine, some of the best we have ever eaten. The min
Wonderful little cafΓ© - pristine clean, warm & friendly service, superb food (soup & cheese scones were epic!) set in the most peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Highly recommended.
Good coffee, (although it was a frustratingly small cup, not sure if they offer a "large" variant), delicious homemade cakes in a beautifully scenic setting, friendly service.
Delicious quiche with salad and slaw - consistently good. Also a hard to resist range of cakes and desserts.
Wow amazing place, food was out of this world 🌎, the cheese scones 10/10. service very friendly and nothing a trouble. Will definitely recommend to everyone. Very good value πŸ˜ƒ
Food looks amazing, unfortunately we got there a little late and wasn't much left. Staff were lovely and welcoming and made us sandwiches etc with what they had. Good healthy portions. Desserts look delicious but we were too full.
Absolutely loved it πŸ˜‹ Had coronation chicken sandwiches and a border tart....oh my word πŸ€€πŸ˜‹ Best I've EVER EATEN....and I mean EVER..... Highly recommend πŸ˜‹
A lovely cafe serving freshly prepared food. Had a lovely jacket potato x
We were a party of 6 and tried a range of soups and ciabatta sandwiches followed by a variety of cakes with creme fresh. I have to say everyone thought the food was excellent in both in quality and presentation. Unfortunately I have only given 4 β˜† as the service was rather slow and items ordered we
Staff were lovely. Selection of snacks such as panini’s and sausage roll and cakes available. Expected range of hot drinks available. The hot chocolates were a bit different and according to the rest of my party very good! (I had a latte which was also good). Sausage roll was homemade and was very t
You can always tell a good cafe by the quality of their hot chocolate. This was fantastic. Warm milk in a very locally made mug, with a large chunk of chocolate on a stick to stir & melt. Delicious! The cakes were wide ranging & very tasty too, a real treat.
Friendly. Lovely food e.g. very tasty quiches with thin, light, melt-in-the-mouth pastry; crab ciabatta. There are also cakes and out-of-the-ordinary ice creams. Well worth a visit. There are other things to do on site.
Amazing locally sourced Holy Island coffee, delicious cakes and scones; the wild boar sausage rolls are superb! Very welcoming staff!
Lovely cheese scone, tea and coffee. Piece of white chocolate cheesecake to take home, will definitely be back
