Went for a lovely Sunday family meal out 😊, this place didn’t disappoint! Food was delicious and beautifully presented!
Chefs are clearly skilled! And credit to the waiters/waitresses… very attentive & caring. We all really had a lovely lunch here, and it was extra special because they had someone playing live music (piano) was brilliant 🤩

What a lovely place, beautiful surrounding, stunning back yard touching a little river bank, service was lovely professional and kind, nothing was too complicated.
The place was spotless, airy and beautifully designed, toilets were clean and all the stuff friendly.
The was food was served quickly and hot, we loved the soup!!!
The fish and chips could be better but the Trout fish was made to perfection.
The only thing we commented on is the butter being cold and the bread served plain so it was hard to spread.
There were many vegan/veggie /non gluten options and the total wasn't expansive at all , £25 PP inc drinks is reasonable.
We can't wait to come again on a sunny day!
Perfect place for lunch, really good service and amazing atmosphere. The food was so good and felt really fresh. The interior is great, there is River flowing just behind the restaurant and they are more than happy for you come in paddling through the water as well.

I had the white bait and my wife had the warm bread with black olive tapenade, olive oil with balsamic vinegar dip and butter.
Both were very nice and quiet large portions. Good value for money.
Considering how busy the place was with people eating the food arrived quite quickly.
We've been coming to the pub for years,seen various people try to make a go of it but failed.
We started coming back to the pub when it reopened hoping that this time it will work. We watched the business go from strength to strength.
You now get a feeling of being on holiday in a sunny Mediterranean location on a sunny day or being in a lovely country pub in the winter with the open fire blazing away.
Well done to all the team and of course James for taking the risk.

A truly faultless meal and drinks with my husband, daughter and 7 month old pup.
Firstly I have to recommend the Bao lavender gin which they stock it was truly divine.
My husband and I both had the rack of ribs, chips, onion rings, coleslaw and corn on the cob. I truly wasn't expecting this much food and was glad that when I decided I had been beaten they said they'd box up the remainder of the ribs for me to take home!!!
My daughter had the kids mac and cheese with added bacon and garlic bread. This was a huge hit and super duper cheesy she was in love!
They also had some pup treats which the pooch loved so glad he didn't miss out.

An awesome google-maps find! Simply stunning setting with lovely huge beer garden, fire pits, decking and table service. Steps down to the river & Dog friendly and amazing food.
Had a fantastic evening here for my friends 50th birthday meal! Food was the best I’ve ever had…. Pork belly is to die for! Well done to the kitchen smashed it! Highly recommend
Tranquil location on the riverside with excellent service, friendly staff and great food on the menu. Staff are friendly and a level above anything else in the area and the owner has clearly transformed this pub into something special. If I could offer any suggestion, offer simpler food (sandwiches?) for the paddleboarders coming through.

The renovation is simply stunning. The food was exquisite (and it was a Sunday evening)
Classy feel throughout, staff and manager are super friendly.
