We had a lovely afternoon in the play area garden. Lots of fun space for children to run around. ,with swings slides and a small ground level trampoline.
The menu is brilliant and that makes it difficult to choose
But we all had different meals and each one was delicious.
The staff were excellent.
Excellent food at an resonable price with friendly service.
On arrival we weren't acknowledged and started having second thoughts. The lady behind the bar finally got round to us but didn't seem at all happy. We took our drinks and waited for our food order to be taken. The waitress again made no eye contact and seemed to be more interested in the regulars.
Went for lunch,and found they did a deal. 2courses for £10 or 3 for £12. Pate starter, lasagna and garlic bread, followed by apple pie and custard. Thoroughly recommend it.
Fantastic pub, fantastic service and the girl serving us was amazing. The food was amazing and reasonably priced but the meals lacked abit of seasoning and the salad could have been offered a with dressing. My partner had the chicken skewers and again needed a sauce to accompany this. But over all v

Very nice chicken BLT wrap, lovely outdoor area. My son loved the trampoline.
ONLY downside, my salad. One stray piece of onion still had a piece of outside layer on but it was so minimal.
Just a really great pub, food and drink is great with brilliant value for money. Landlord values the guests that much I witnessed him help get an older couples car out as they were struggling, now if that doesn’t deserve a 5 star I don’t know what does.

Lovely little local, food is great and very reasonably priced, the atmosphere is also quite cosy, would recommend to anyone local or visiting!
