We had a lovely afternoon in the play area garden. Lots of fun space for children to run around. ,with swings slides and a small ground level trampoline. The menu is brilliant and that makes it difficult to choose But we all had different meals and each one was delicious. The staff were excellent. I would definitely recommend this pub We have been before and will keep coming back

On arrival we weren't acknowledged and started having second thoughts. The lady behind the bar finally got round to us but didn't seem at all happy. We took our drinks and waited for our food order to be taken. The waitress again made no eye contact and seemed to be more interested in the regulars. Finally got to us and did explain that they were very short staffed, but had she said something at the beginning we would have been a bit more understanding. Food when we got it was fabulous. A large portion for a cheap price. When departing we did say goodbye to the bar lady but she was to busy sitting chatting to another regular to bother to acknowledge us again. Never mind, we will probably never cross their doorstep again anyway!!!.
