The National Trust Tea-room At Corfe Castle - Corfe Castle - Photo album

Great place to stop for a drink and a bite before entering the castle. The sandwiches were great and the service was quick and friendly
Cosy establishment outside Corfe Castle. The cream tea was very reasonably priced at £6.55 and consisted of a choice of plain or fruit scone, a hot drink, ready made jam and cream. You have to order at the front desk and the tea took around 7 minutes to arrive. We also ordered a cheese scone which w
Nice place with a view on the castle. Suprisingly quite busy even on Monday, but we could still sit by one of the table outside. Dog friendly, they even have the special ice-cream for them. The ice coffee and ice-cream were average, however the atmosphere and nice staff made it better experience.
We had tea/coffee and cake here after visiting the Castle. It is situated right next to it so it is very handy if you are tired, like I was, after your walk. We sat outside but there was plenty of room inside too. Unfortunately while we were there they had a terrible problem with wasps but the staf
Gorgeous cream tea after a visit to Corfe Castle! Staff even brought a dog water bowl to the table for Maxipoos. Stunning view of the castle as you dine.
We stopped after a visit to Corfe Castle and were delighted to find they did gluten-free scones! The menu seemed limited for any other gluten-free options, but I think they were dealing with staff shortages and a limited menu. The gardens are a gorgeous setting overlooking the castle!
Nice place to stop off and relax. Had to make do with cream tea / cakes on day as chef was ill. Not an issue, still very nice.
The best view for a cream tea/lunch. Good value food. Not accessible for disabled/older people. Toilets has a step up to it. There is only 1 for men, 1 for women which isn't really suitable for the size of the tea room - long queues. The best seats are outside and that is truly stunning but again
At £3.45 for the luxury hot chocolate it was delicious and very rich. Topped with cream and some surprise of marshmallows below. A nice treat whilst visiting the castle. Very friendly and professional service all round.
It is a very nice place, views are wonderful, it’s calm, and quiet, and you can enjoy your cream tea watching the castle and thinking about history of the place. Cream tea price is very good, considering that it’s a touristic place I would expect it to be higher. Scones are crunchy which I liked a l
Wonderful view of a castle steeped in history and the reasons why it became ruins. Good village entrance and a steam train to boot right next door. Well worth visiting.
This is a must for us every time we are in the area. Cream tea was, as always, lovely and the scones just get better and better!
Really friendly staff, quick service and tasty lunch
I very much enjoyed my scone and drink here when I visited. The cafe is set in a traditional building and offers a menu relatively typical of the National Trust
We popped in very late on a Monday afternoon after an all day walk. Hoping for a very much needed cup of tea. We were greeted by a very lovely lady who couldn't have been more welcoming. We both had a cream tea which was served with a really fresh scone, loads of cream and jam, and a really good pot
