All you expect from a bustling Costa and this one has the added bonus of a marvellous view of busy Princes Street (watching the world go by was never easier) and the stunning back drop of Edinburgh Castle makes this Costa the perfect place for that Sunday morning Bacon Roll & Cuppa, both of which were yummy! 🤩

Shout out to Freya, who attended on the till. She was so bright and good that it made me smile. My coffee was just as I ordered it, so I'm also happy about that. Keep up the great job!

Great views of Edinburgh - stairs to enter, further stairs for WC. If u can manage stairs give it a go

This Costa serves smooth, strong coffee along with great views as it is located in the first floor. There are quite a few stairs to get to it and the toilets are on the floor above, so beware of climbing stairs is difficult for you.

When I visited I was amazed at how well the team all worked together and multitasked plus they seemed to have a lovely banter between them. The meet and greet was very welcoming and although very busy I was served and sat down within a couple of minutes.

Attention Digital Nomads and other cafe warriors. This place gets 5 stars, not because of the coffee (it’s a costa, you get what you get). But this is one of the best remote places to work in Edinburgh. Stunning views, lots of tables, and outlets everywhere (and free wifi). Honestly I think a lot of people skip it because it’s a Costa, and is semi-hidden. Trust me I have worked remotely in this city for a while, and this is the best coffee house to work from. You are welcome for my secrets, now go make this place crowded so I can never work here again 🤣

Tried their new Columbian bean for the extra 20p in an Americano. Really good coffee, definately worth a try next time your asked. Went well with their dark chocolate nuts & sea salt bar. Situated on the first floor it has great views across Princess Street and towards the castle. It has plenty of seating and around a dozen window tables. Service was really excellent seems like a really good team. Noticed tables were quickly cleared and it was clean despite being busy. Obviously popular with tourists, lots of happy voices from many countries.

Fairly large but busy Costa. You have to climb a steep stair to reach it and a further flight of stairs for the toilets. The cafe itself is on the first floor (above the shops at street level) in a corner location with wonderful views from the large windows that stretch from knee level to the ceiling. Views right along Princes Street, over to Edinburgh Castle, the Old Town, the crown of St Giles Cathedral on the Royal Mile. The food and drink are standard Costa offerings.
