Great evening of live music in the Shire Horse lounge. A great space with room for pool tables, a stage and plenty of tables and chairs - even a little impromptu dance area at the front of the stage. Atmosphere was great - with all original music from local Corby bands Yodaclub and The Scenesters. I've never seen so many people determined to have a great night - and a great night they had - with singing and dancing and perhaps a drink or two. Fantastic night all round!
The shire horse does a fantastic roast dinner every Sunday 😋 and a gluten-free one for me, which is brilliant.
A choice of 4 different meats and several vegetable choices.
You can also have roast, mash, and new potatoes .
Staff are lovely and helpful.
I do recommend booking ahead as they get very busy.
You can also order in a takeaway tub, but you have to collect it yourself as they don't deliver.

Getting a drink was horrible waiting over 20mins in a que for a drink with only 2 bar staff on both bars.
Was clean and tidy considering their was a lot people tho.
Sunday lunch for 17. Food was excellent, staff were great. Definitely going back.

Booked last minute for a carvery for 2 - excellent carvery, plenty of meat and a good choice of piping hot potatoes and vegetables. Had a delicious banana split for dessert. Very friendly staff.
We all highly recommend coming to the Carvery. Excellent meal by all and the best cavary in Corby.
Still a great pub, great atmosphere friendly staff, great food.
In the beer garden for the kids to play on are a climbing frame slide,swings etc.
There events are amazing too with a stage in the beer garden with live performances from local bands.
There is also Lots of seating outside consisting of beer garden benches.
Still one of the best family pubs in Corby to go to.

Excellent Sunday lunch £10.95 for a regular size plate. I had beef & Pork which where both easy to cut and very tasty. It became very busy, a good indication of how popular it is, booking recommended.
It was an enjoyable experience. Christmas drinks with the work colleagues. The staff were fantastic.
Lounge nice and clean price of pint ok not over priced
We popped in here for early carvery today 30/4/2017. This was lovely. The food was so tasty and roasting, the only thing I would have a small moan about was plate not heated. It is a lovely clean place, Was first time we have ate here and it wont be the last time

Lovely family pub,very welcoming and the food was excellent and plentiful.Would definitely recommend this pub to anyone who has never been there. Great space too and nicely decorated.😁
Very good local, friendly bar staff and reasonable selection of beers lagers etc.
Very large garden to the rear, ideal for a few drinks on sunny summer days with a selection of play equipment and a bouncy castle for the kids.
Selection of food available, Sunday lunch is all home cooked.
