Overall really good place to have a meal and relax. Nice and big pub with load of parking areas for customers and free. Not only that they have 3 fast electric car chargers too. Only down side was staff didn't seams like happy at all feel like they lost.. Food we ordered mixed grill comes without chicken then we had to ask for it. Then we orded ale pie after 10_15min the come and said they don't have that and order some thing els so we orded stake and mentioned make sure we'll done but it came red.. After all giving 4 star thinking we went there wrong time which is around 3-4pm. May be we will try again anther time
Lovely mid week meal with the spread eagle. Damon was great. Polite and happy to help. Food arrived fast and super hot. Good range of on tap beer and soft drinks as well.
Worth getting around the road closure.
I came with my mum the food and drinks were 10/10 il be back next Sunday to do it all again
Lovely meal despite having a few items not available. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Steak was cooked to perfection and the Sunday dinner looked amazing! Will definitely be back for seconds!
Overall a really good experience here. It's a lovely space, atmosphere and setting. The food options for vegans were good, and tasty. Three stars for service as the guys got out order wrong more then once, and brought out non-vegan dish instead of it's vegan alternative. Friendly though.

first time in the Spread Eagle having driven past hundreds of times in the past but trying it now, first impressions was very clean and friendly staff it wasn’t too busy but we came early I would recommend to book a table there were a lot of tables already reserved food was fantastic and reasonable considering the current climate we will definitely be returning
Was able to sit where we liked, which was good, the staff are very friendly, the choice of food, plate size and taste, was fantastic!
A dog friendly pub too, which is a massive bonus and going to look at booking for Christmas Day!

Great pub with attentive team and a broad menu. They have a pool table and some great beers on. Beer garden looks like a massive draw when it gets Sunny again
Another fantastic meal, both boys enjoyed theirs and I loved mine, service with a smile and allways made to feel welcome, just a note to anyone reading this, a mega mixed grill is literally double to a normal mixed grill, was alot of meat and my boys helped 😀 will continue to have a boys night there on my weekends with the boys :-)
