Couldn't fault this place it was jam packed on a Wednesday night so they must be doing something right πŸ‘‰. Booked a table for 6 o clock as we were staying in the village and wanted to have a Carvery 'Outstanding ' and my pint of Guinness was up there with the Best. The staff worked there socks off to keep up with all the orders and it was a very pleasant evening. Many Thanks.

I have always liked the Sondes Arms and have always enjoyed our visit. We came for another great carvery there today, tasty veg, friendly staff with great personalities and some cakes to bring home. Couldn't ask for anything better thanks guys!!

Amazing food. Unfortunately as a family table the waiters didn't seem to want to serve us and it took us getting up to hunt someone down to get the dessert menu other than that a great experience 😊 highly recommend the chicken and mushroom pie when it's pie of the day πŸ‘

Busy pub/hotel in a quaint village where all the front doors of the houses are a particular shade of green, by order it would seem. I happened to get here on carvery night and was treated to an excellent meal, with the unusual treat of being able to have different meats (ham and beef in my case) together. Loads of veg and the biggest Yorkshire puds I've ever seen. Certainly worth a visit if you are in this lovely neck of the woods..

Amazing food, great price and the staff were exceptional. We both had carvery before heading for a football match at Corby Town which is only a few minutes drive down the road. A choice of 4 meats , which we had a bit of all of them , all were tender and quality. The veg choice was very good and all tasty. Excellent stuffing, Yorkshire pudding was top notch and a choice of roast potatoes and garlic new potatoes. The staff were the best we have had at a restaurant/pub in a long time. Have already told numerous people and will definitely visit again.

Set in the heart of a picturesque village, the Sondes Arms is a brilliant restaurant/pub. Offering typical pub grub and carvery at very sensible prices. It's well with a visit in its own right. Lovely quality food served by nice people in pleasant, clean surroundings. There are tables in small covered gazebos in the garden and three clear geodesic domes in the courtyard if the numerous indoor tables don't appeal. Service is quick, friendly, but not over powering. The menu offers a good selection of standard dishes and the dessert menu is good - check out the display cabinet on the way into the bar where you'll find an innovative range of sweet pies and cakes. All very hard to resist and if you're too full, you can have them to take away. Everywhere is clean and tidy and the main restaurant area is wheel chair friendly.
