Lovely food and excellent cake. Stayed the night in their accommodation too which was a welcome rest while doing Hadrian's Wall walk
The food was lovely. The staff were friendly and cheerful. They looked after us perfectly, making sure I was comfortable with my back injury and were interested in the fact we were catching up with a friend we hadn't seen in 50 years. Couldn't fault them. Thank you 😊
Excellent experience. One is always made to feel like a VIP, with prompt attention with a smile. The food is delicious and fresh. Even a simple sandwich is elevated to a higher level with good ingredients and the cakes and deserts are lip smacking good.
My wife and I went here twice this weekend and it was amazing. The staff were very cheerful and I can honestly say that the apple pie was the best I have ever had. Also my wife had the egg custard tart was the best she has ever had and she has eaten a lot of cake in her lifetime :)
Excellent cafe in what was old pub on A68/Military Road roundabout. Lovely selection of cakes and coffee/tea with reasonable range of meals/snacks. Hadrian's wall walk passes through the car park so no excuse not to call in if doing the walk. Cheerful, helpful staff make this a 'must visit' cafe.
Absolutely beautiful place. An old pub converted to a tea room. The devour was wonderful, the paintings and pictures gave it a warming feeling. Service was friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. But the cakes! Lots to choose from and freshly made! I wish I could have tried them all! Perfect lit
Amazing coffee house. The food is always spot on and the staff and owner and very friendly and accommodating. Quick service. Never disappoints. Can alway get a table even if it is very busy (which it usually is unsurprisingly). Thank you.
Originally The Errington Arms Pub now a Coffee House. Lovely staff and food is very well presented and great quality. If service and quality are what your after look no further. One stop off you’ll love. Tons of parking spaces. Some out door seats great for summer. I’ve been going since it opened bu
What an unexpected surprise! Stopped for a coffee and ordered pie . A bustling friendly care with a front of house team that greeted us warmly. Food was fabulous. Great salad and home made pie. Both my partner and I thought the coffee was of a good standard ( and we're proper coffee snobs) and all i
GREAT PLACE TO STOP WHATEVER WAY YOU'RE TRAVELLING Wonderfully welcoming with a great selection of cakes, tarts, pies, scones and all kinds of desserts. I arrived mid afternoon and had a ham and peas pudding granary sandwich, served with crisps and a salad garnish. The ham was thick and flavoursom
We stopped here midday on Hadrian’s Wall Way and were not at all disappointed! Great cakes, lovely customer service, friendly atmosphere. A very ‘northern’ personality amongst the staff which was welcoming, teasing and good humoured. Thank you for sending us on our journey in such a happy mood!
Beautiful place to have breakfast.
What a lovely place, we stopped off to have a break and caught just before it closed. They had a wonderful selection of cakes on offer. We had tea and chocolate cake, also apple pie and ice cream served outside in the sunshine. Staff were really friendly and made us feel welcomed, a perfect way
If you want to stop for a delightful cake or pudding, this is the place to go. Ran by lovely ladies who are keen to help. Tables outside and in, nice place to stop rather than an awful petrol garage.

Excellent selection of delicious quiches, pies and cakes. Good atmosphere. Pricey for the portion sizes though.
