Enjoyed a fabulous meal last night with friends. We haven't been since the renovation and was very pleasantly surprised. The greeting was very warm and welcoming, service was good and the food excellent. Presentation of the food was beautiful and served nice and hot. The menu was varied and offered some interesting specials. Red wine was decantered and water was provided without asking for it. A nice variety of gins on offer and selection of various tonics. All four of us had a different one! Will definitely be returning on a regular basis - this place deserves to do well. Thank you for a super evening.
Went here after the first place we went to was fully booked. As soon as we entered we knew it was our kind of place. Cosy wood burners and friendly staff. The food was excellent. Even the children get proper burgers on their menu, an adult one just shrink for kids.
Overall it was excellent and will go again before others hear about it and gets busy.

I didnt know this place existed until recently. The food was fantastic, great atmosphere, it was busy but that didnt affect the service. Would definitely recommend it👍
Me and my boyfriend thought we'd go for a spot of dinner before our flight tomorrow morning and the food was absolutely fabulous. I would 100% recommend to go here. Staff are lovely and food is spot on! 5*

Been quite a few times while visiting my parents, every time the food has been excellent and the service has been to a high standard, it is my favourite place to go when back home
Had the most amazing fillet steak, cooked to perfection, best steak I've had in a long time, highly recommended, will be visiting again very soon.
Had a family birthday celebration and booked in advance so our table was waiting with candles lit and looked very inviting.
The food was good and we all left feeling full and not able to clear all our plates.
The staff were very friendly and on hand for drink refills and anything else we needed
We visited on recommendation and were not disappointed..will definitely be returning!

I must say I am a frequent customer and always have an absolutely amazing experience every single time. The food at the cherry tree pub is undeniably one of the best I’ve ever had no exaggeration. The quality and taste of every dish exceeds my expectations.
What truly sets this place apart is the incredible staff. The customer service is top-notch, and every single staff member, especially Fatima, Sumiya and Todd, goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. Their warm and friendly demeanor adds to the overall charm of the pub.
The atmosphere at the Cherry Tree Pub is like no other. It’s cozy and inviting, making it a perfect place to unwind and enjoy a meal or catch up with a friend/loved one. Personally, I always look forward to Sundays for their roast because it’s the best I’ve ever had. The roast is not only incredibly tasty but also a feast for the eyes – it’s beautifully presented.

I had the pleasure of dining at the Cherry Tree Pub, and it was a quintessential British pub experience. The ambiance was truly authentic, with dark wooden beams, cozy nooks, and that charming, slightly worn feel you'd expect from an old English pub.
Now, when it came to the Sunday roast, the menu didn't disappoint. They offered a selection of beef, chicken, lamb, and pork, and for the truly audacious, a combination of all of the above. Being American, I couldn't resist trying the mixed roast, and I was pleasantly surprised by the huge portion for a relatively inexpensive price. The dish arrived with a mound of perfectly roasted meat and a variety of traditional sides.
However, there was one minor hiccup in this otherwise delightful experience. The Yorkshire pudding was slightly overdone and dry, which was a bit disappointing. But hey, I suppose it's a minor quibble when you're served such a hearty meal.
One thing I didn't expect was the longer wait for my food, but that gave me plenty of time to enjoy the quaint charm of the pub.
What truly stood out, though, was the friendly and attentive staff. They made sure I felt welcome and attended to my needs with a level of hospitality that made me appreciate the Cherry Tree Pub even more. It was a delightful taste of British culture and cuisine, and I'd gladly return for another Sunday roast, despite the minor imperfections.
The best pub Sunday lunch!!! The food is incredible and the service is amazing. I have visited numerous time and have not been disappointed! We had the Sunday feast as you get a selection of all the meats. The portion was huge and you get loads of meat!! Definitely the best Sunday lunch you'll find around the area!!

We went to the cherry tree last night and the food was amazing . Great attention to detail. We had the pork belly and special of the day lamp kebab. Followed by sticky toffee pudding.
All the food was delicious no photos as we couldn't wait to eat it .

Lovely dinning experience, food was great, the hot wings have so much flavour and carry so much heat, these are big starters. The fillet Steak was perfect. The seafood was cooked wonderfully. The slight exception was the triple cooked chips which were a little limp and not the mega crispy delights I wanted, but all in all a great night and would definitely return.
A special mention to the staff tonight, who were fabulous. Especially our waitress who was new to the restaurant.

If we could get a table and was greeted by an every welcoming blonde ladie. Who seated us straight away! The food was lovely! Couldn’t fault it! One of the best roasts I e had at a pub! The staff was friendly and polite! We will definitely be coming back
