Picked up the guide and orienteering map for Bodlondeb at the attached library. Spotted the Cantin and had teas and cakes. Good value afternoon special! Modern clean building with good facilities. A successful stop.

Beautiful modern low rise structure. Large glazed area benefitting great views of Conway's walls, the modern angular aesthetic contrasting brilliantly with the town's ancient walls. Interestingly all the angles are pointed aggressively at the Anglo Norman ramparts, are the Welsh making a statement here. I like the fish scales zinc cladding, and the interesting inclusion of a traditional Welsh material, slate. Really good to see such good design away from a big city.

Great new building. Much better layout than the old library in Conwy. Great accessibility for people with wheelchairs and prams. An interesting layout for books etc and wonderful to see the new archive location as well.

Great to see the archives centre open again on a booking process. Staff as they were before lockdown very helpful.
