Got the large cod fish an chips with a gravy. Fish potion was decent and reasonably thick in the centre. Batter was crispy and not soggy. Fish moist. Gravy was thick and tasty. Chips were cooked well and not soggy or greasy. I recommend the archway. Hopefully your experience will be as good.

This place is brilliant for food intolerances. I ate in the restaurant part and had gluten-free fish & chips. They even had gf Peroni. The back of the menu is great for check ingredients.

September 2023: The best chippie in Conwy. Dog friendly! We had sausage, chips & fruity curry and steak & kidney pie, chips, mushy peas & gravy!
I don't go here often enough it is always clean and tidy. A very good choice of hot food to take out or there is a restaurant you can dine in with table service if I am going to one of the chippys in Conwy this would be my first choice every time
The Archway serves good portions of tasty fish and chips in the middle of Conwy. They do have seating available, but that sadly closes earlier.

The fish and chips I had from here were absolutely delicious best I've had for a long time. Will definitely go there again. Chips are fab crispy golden and not all clagging together like some outlets. I ate every last one outside in the sunshine in the nearby square. Prices are good too. Loads of b

I've been to many Fish & Chip shops around the UK and I would say the Cod & Chips I purchased from Archway were in my top 4, they were fantastic! We called beforehand for a table for 6pm ish. We didnt need to book and its walk in. The service was friendly and efficient. We had cod and chips and chicken burgers. My cousin and myself were in Wales for a week in September. We visited Conwy town for the day and with recommendations from a person whom we spoke to that day we decided to visit The Archway's and we both got the deal which was fish and chips each with bread and pot of tea. It was the nicest fish

Hands down, the best fish and chips you can get North Wales! This haddock was big enough to be a shark! Super crispy and very light batter and the fish melts in your mouth.
Table service was excellent, staff are super friendly and upbeat. Nice chilled vibes in the seating area. Plus dog friendly!!
