This is a lovely place to eat lots of different choices and nice atmosphere. It was very busy when we went so that speaks for itself and toilet was spotless although their was no handwash. Would highly recommend.
I haven't tried enough of their stuff to score higher than a 4, if I do I'll change the review. The breakfast is really tasty but the tea is a bit weak for my tastes. Overall I'd recommend it for a tasty decent sized breakfast.
Probably the best coffee shop in Consett. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food is freshly baked in the shop. I had a freshly baked scone and washed it down with a hot chocolate. My favourite place to go to chat up with friends in a relaxing atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit
Went to Maddison's for a late lunch. On a sunny Friday.
Ordered the Dirty Sweet Potato Fries with sweet chilli chicken & cheese. Bought a raspberry ice cream milkshake as well.

Nice environment with very friendly staff. Large menu that you'll want to try all of. The food is delicious and very filling, so I'd recommend going here if you're anywhere nearby.

Late afternoon, so a little on the quiet side, which was just great for me. Always enjoy visiting this place every time I'm up near Consett. Food great and coffee lovely. The lady on the phone taking my reservation was lovely, being accommodating of me having to push back the time a little. My dog was made welcome. The service was lovely by all staff, and the food was wonderful. Delicious milkshakes, and I brought home some Biscot Billionaire cake which looked delic

First time visitor and will be back. Lovely atmosphere and staff. Made a bespoke waffle for the little one which I appreciated.
Such a lovely place, staff there were very attentive and accomodating. Food came at a good pace and tasted great, bought some take out treats as well. Definitely come here for a quiet place to relax and eat!
