Our second visit there last night. It's the best Indian restaurant we've ever been to. The decor & furnishings are a very high standard and the food is the best. We were offered a choice of where we wanted to sit, and the lady serving was very friendly and excellent at her job, explaining the different meals to us. I had garlic mushrooms to start...best I've ever had, lamb pasanda with naan + chips, and an Indian desert, all of which I'd definitely have again. It's great that you can take your own drinks too. Will definitely go again soon, highly recommended.
Do not be put off by the location (next to Morrisons). Once you are inside, the fantastic décor and surroundings more than makes up for this. The staff are excellent, so friendly and helpful with explaining the dishes on the menu and recommending certain dishes to you. Nothing is too much trouble for them and everything is served with a smile. Any dish can be altered to your desired heat setting too, which is great. The menu is extensive and everything I have eaten on our, now 4 visits, to the restaurant has been excellent. Would thoroughly recommend the home-style chicken curry which can be served either on or off the bone. Best curry I have had outside of Glasgow! And that's praise indeed. The bring your own bottle is great too and the restaurant will provide ice-buckets etc. You have to buy soft drinks from the bar and my daughter sampled the recommended raspberry mocktail which she said was lovely. It's quite a small restaurant and it gets busy (because it is so good) and probably is fairly noisy when full, but I quite like this type of atmosphere, it just adds to the experience. All in all amazing food, fabulous staff and great décor. Can't wait until our next visit. Connah's Quay was crying out for a great place to eat. This is it.
Fantastic food menu also they will adapt for your needs request. Friendly staff approachable but not in your face. Cleanliness 100 % the place is spotless
