Crown Inn, Coniston - Coniston - Photo album

Can't rate the rooms as we only went for lunch. Staff were very friendly, good humoured and efficient. The pub was really nice inside, its cosy, with comfortable seating, nice decor, and its very clean to. Also, great toilets, it's so rare, but the toilets have actually been thought about. Spacious,
Popped in for a drink after a long walk with the dog. It was very busy, always a good sign. Had a look at the menu and booked a table for the following evening, the food was lovely with loads of choice. Definitely book if you want an evening meal though. Lovely staff and the owners were very helpful
Lovely comfortable room with lots of nice touches (premium tea & coffee, fresh milk in room, excellent bath/shower). Very friendly and helpful staff in hotel and pub. We had an excellent evening meal and there were good veggie options. Also an excellent breakfast. Would highly recommend.
We had a wonderful stay at the Crown Inn in Coniston. Diane and the team made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The hotel was busy and had a positive vibe about it. The food, drinks and accommodation were top class. My wife and I would definitely stop there again, an excellent location and we lo
We were on a coach trip in the Lake District. We had a short break in Coniston to have a browse around. We were on our way home and decided to go into the Crown for a decent meal. Wow, We were not disappointed. We descended on them 20 minutes before the last orders at lunchtime. We were still mad
Excellent bar area with varied seating for everyone. The rooms are spacious and well provided. The staff are all well trained and attentive. Great evening meal and breakfast. Cannot fault this one. Well done team Crown Inn
A great find in the heart of Coniston. Friendly and attentive staff, great food and drink and rooms that have everything you need. You can walk out from the Crown and the Ruskin Museum is just around the corner. The weather wasn't great when we visited but despite many wet hikers and their dogs, t
I was perhaps over expecting for an abundance of pubs and restaurants in Coniston (or maybe didn't look properly) However this Robinson's pub was good stuff, and a car park, which is super handy. We had good food. We were lucky the let us in as it was early, it seems to book up quickly, so avoid disa
Stayed for one night whilst walking the Cumbria Way. Room was really practice and comfortable - fridge in room with cold water and fresh milk for drinks. Evening meal was excellent. Overall everything you could have wanted. Very comfortable bed - best nights sleep on the walk.
Stopped in for a few beers on a day where the rain never stopped. The pub was clearly newly refurbished, and as such was very nice. More importantly the beer was first class, and as they seemed to have a promotion on, the beer was very reasonably priced!!
Called in here after a long walk, not to busy, just right for us with 2 dogs. Had a drink each and some soup(£5 i think)and posh fish fingers(£9) which were both really nice. Definitely recommend the fish fingers. Nice decor and well woth a visit.
Had a superb early evening meal, The Beef Pie, Barnsley Chop, Gammon, and Steak were all very well prepared and presented, all were delicious, the staff were attentive, and made sure we had everything we wanted. It was busy so would advise booking online, to avoid disappointment.
Only stayed 2 nights. Exactly what we were looking for. Excellent service by all the staff especially after a busy Christmas and new year. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Our room was a dog friendly room, there was no sign of any dog being there, not even our spaniel picked up a scent. Breakfast
Booked for food the last two nights. Service was amazing, food great even though it was a new menu the staff were getting used to. Thank you so much we loved it
We stayed for 3 nights. The whole place was immaculately clean and our room was cleaned every day. The staff were pleasant, welcoming and attentive. We were made to feel really welcome. The food was superb and is highly recommended. I would really love to visit again.
I didn't stay over , just needed to use the carpark which is patron usage only, was quite supprised not to be ripped off by buying a drink, they charged me £1-70p for a large Blackcurrant & soda and I sat in a comfy chair. The meals looked good from what I saw.
Went twice in one week, food and service both fantastic each time. Clean and high quality interior that strikes a good balance between traditional pub and modern. All the staff were upbeat and friendly and very attentive
Gorgeous 3 day stay over Christmas, the hotel is just beautiful, dog friendly rooms stunning, little extra touches, dog treat boxes, Christmas day evening buffet box and wine. The small team of staff who worked over the 3 days of our stay worked so hard, remaining so friendly and helpful. Breakfast
