Church House - Congleton - Photo album

We called in on a whim on the way home from a walk up the Cloud. My partner had wanted to stop here for a while so it seemed a prime opportunity. What a lovely place! Clean, fresh, well presented and well maintained (a recent refurbishment probably helped here!) With ample seating and a lovely lawn
The best Steak Thai Salad I've tasted. The others said their meals were nice too. Such friendly attentive service top from both girls working.
Tried the ribeye steak…nicely cooked and was very tasty. Bonus points for the crispy chips, the best I’ve had in Congleton. Service was friendly and we ordered straight away but the bottle of wine took more than it should have done to arrive as it wasn’t even busy.
Great service and brilliant food. Can't wait to return!
Visited today for Sunday lunch as a treat. The pub was very very busy, however, James was amazing on the bar and the team. Never realised how much attitude bar staff take in one shift from customers. Well done for the professional manner all complaints were dealt with today. Some people complain f
Our family of 4 adults visited last night (Saturday). The pub looks great on the outside and inside, food was delicious and well presented, the service was attentive, food came out in good time and offers of more drinks, atmosphere perfect with quiet music coming from the bar area, everywhere clea
After a lovely (yet misty) walk around Macclesfield Forest we went to Church House on the way home for some lunch. We were pleasantly surprised as the food was amazing!! The place itself is beautiful & clean. Definitely recommended....
Perfect stop for Sunday Dinner. Excellent staff, great food and nice sized portions too. Also the decor in the pub is very smart, good selection of beers too. We will most certainly be stopping off here again! Totally recommend and you won't be disappointed either!
Good food (and I'm hard to please) brilliant service couldn't fault anything. We will definitely be back.
The food was great. Staff attentive and helpful. Great quality and price. Well worth an evening there 👍. We were a party of 5
Great pub. Delicious food and outdoor setting. Highly recommended.
Our refurbished local pub is brilliant. We've been three times now geocentric for dinner and today for lunch. Great quality food, lovely garden and great service. The menu should appeal to everyone, the beef baget with coleslaw and proper chips for lunch was great.
Really friendly staff, made to feel very welcome. The menu isn't extensive but the food is good, we all had something different and all agreed the same.
It's all about the staff and they really are great at the Church House. A special shout out to Izzy who is always very welcoming, makes all the difference. Food is decent too but it's service that brings you back
Nice pub, great staff, lovely food (if a bit pricy) We stayed in our motorhome at the back of the pub, which was OK, but again, for a pub stopover, it was a bit expensive.
I came today and I had lunch Jessica with the red hair and Harvey behind the bar. Absolutely superb. The food was lovely and stuff so attentive made my afternoon. Thank you very much Tracey
We came across here when we were driving home from a walk at Macclesfield forest, the staff were cheerful and friendly, the food was delicious and spot on and the pub was very nicely decorated, food is bit more expensive to what we would normally pay but all home made and worth it, will definitely
Nice pub with good pub food and craft ales. Separate veggie menu available (not advertised on website), though we went with the halloumi tacos off the main menu which were very tasty.
