Overall good Experience!
Great place to visit during a sunny weekend.
Staff were kind.
Food came pretty quick and prices were reasonable.
If you have kids, there is a huge outdoor playground.
I'm almost afraid to post this in case they blow up to the point that they're booked up months in advance and my disorganised/impulsive self can't get back in...but I can't gatekeep an exceptional dinner!

Faultless roast dinner…ample portions, didn’t need your extras we ordered but when the extra Yorkies were offered, how can we possibly refuse! This was a mid point journey birthday celebration and wow…we will 100% be meeting here again!

Perfect quintessential English pub. We checked in for the night into one of their little stone conversions at the back of the pub close to the large pretty garden. It was very well furnished , with quality bed linen and towels.

Came here on the last day of our holiday and we were very happy with the service, food, drinks and atmosphere. Staff were very helpful and attentive. The Ring O’ Bells in Compton Martin is one of my favourite Butcombe Pubs, good atmosphere and good beer. Haven’t been for a couple of months but this week I sampled the new menu which has been seriously enhanced to make things far more interesting and the new dishes we tried were both excellent.
Friendly staff and lovely room to the side of the pub which was a converted stable or shed. Very enjoyable stay. Thank you.
Lovely pub and great atmosphere. The garden is kept beautifully. I’ve only come here for drinks, but the service has always been spot on. Maybe I’ll try the food next time, the menu looks great. Highly recommend.
Beautiful pub with a warm and friendly welcome. We enjoyed sitting in the fabulous beer garden soaking up the afternoon sun. The bedroom was extremely clean, well appointed and comfortable. Evening meal was delicious and the atmosphere in the busy pub was lovely. Everyone we encountered was friend
