Had beautiful meal today. Good, friendly service......melt in the mouth roast beef with lovely fresh vegetables.......a real Sunday dinner. I was tempted by the desert menu and choose the toffee cake with ice cream.....delious.......well worth the drive from Carrickfergus.
Some very good food. Never had a bad meal. The desserts are the best part!! Nice place and very good staff �
Visited the Peppercorn Bistro on 26th July to treat my sister (who has never been there) for afternoon tea. As was expected, the food was delicious and fresh, with a great variety of sweet and savoury. Service is always excellent and the staff are always polite and friendly. Unlike all the others I have tried, I find the Peppercorn relaxing and enjoyable; where afternoon tea is an event that can never be rushed. Other venues charge more for less food which is often of poorer quality and the service never comes close, including some 4 star hotels! Afternoon tea at the Peppercorn is now becoming somewhat of a habit, and I simply love it!
Delicious food and friendly service at a very reasonable price. If you’re in the area you’ve gotta eat here. Get the Ulster Fry if you’re really hungry, absolute treat.
Went here with my wife and my Mum it was almost closing time yet they let us come in and order. We ordered 3 small frys the food was very good and reasonably priced and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Ordered two of the specialty lattes the after eight one and the Ferrero Rocher one, two of the best coffees I’ve ever had and will definitely come back for these. As for the food we ordered the Ulster fry and the Club Sandwich and they were both perfect, the fry was cooked to perfection and the mushrooms were just unbelievable. The club sandwich was packed out and came with curly fries and a bit of side salad and it was all just delicious. Will definitely come back here asap the staff was friendly and quick and efficient with our order which made which made our experience more enjoyable. Can’t wait to try out the other items on the menu 😁
Just before we left we got the pumpkin spice lattes and they are absolutely gorgeous the best ones we’ve had. We got a slice of cake which is so fluffy and the texture is amazing 10/10 will definitely recommend to everyone!
Nice staff, family run business sporting a massive selection of delicious home baked scones, looked after our cycling party of eight people, seating us at one table, offered coffee top ups and when we finished they offered to fill our cycling water bottles. Can't say enough good things about them. I will definitely be back for more 🚴♀️👍
Brilliant bistro with extremely friendly staff, fantastic service & great food. Great value for money. A lot better than over priced places I have visited in Comber.
Called in for Sunday breakfast. Had the Big Easy fry and was very nice well cooked, but more than even I could manage hehe. Nice place good food brilliant friendly service great atmosphere. Would recomend a visit.
Me and my mum love this place. Especially tge chicken stack. But avoid disappointment by trying to go on a monday and Wednesday when they are closed.
I've been past here many times and knew all about good reputation but for whatever reason I always used another cafe. Tried it yesterday after a recommendation and was not disappointed. Real art to making a really good Ulster Fry and this one was absolutely top class. Won't be the last one that's for sure.
Husband and wife run restaurant, friendly and helpful staff. Good seating area,either by the window,or middle to the back of restaurant. Nice ambiance.
