Excellent pub with great staff and locals and because it's a dog friendly, nice location right by the beach and other shops. Definitely go back there again with our dogs.

Lovely warm family friendly pub, the food in both the bar and bistro were excellent and a fantastic activity centre for the kids in the garden would highly recommend.
Absolutely love this place situated overlooking the bay in Combe Martin. Deceiving from the outside as it's quite a large establishment. Sells good quality ale + some craft & the usual suspects in keg & bottles. It also has a large selection of various spirits & a lovely friendly couple who run it & a team outback in the kitchen. Very nice garden area with plenty of seating & parasols. Also a balcony area where we sat overlooking the garden next to the kitchen where the staff were working feverishly to get out some fantastic looking food. We never heard the ping of a microwave once meaning everything is cooked freshly.

I had a really nice meal here yesterday. You get a generous portion for the sea food stew and mussels. The seafood definitely tastes fresh as well. Drinks are also reasonably priced. It is first come first serve and no reservations, but the waitress/manager was happy to keep an eye out for the next empty table while we had a drink.
What a lovely place to visit. Staff were very welcoming, child friendly, excellent carvery. Big spacious back yard. Reasonably priced. We visited Easter Sunday and the hidden eggs were a lovely touch, my children enjoyed finding them.
We will definitely be returning next year.
Great setting, lots of outdoor seating with view of the harbour, limited parking but plenty of pay and display nearby. Friendly, efficient service with comfortable table seating inside. The staff are conscientious and friendly and the food we had was top class. Wouldn't hesitate to come again. Highly recommended 👍😃
Great Sunday carvery. Great choice of veg really loved the cheese mash and the dauphinoise potatoes. 3 meats all very well cooked. Staff really nice and we were seated in the bistro area. Great value for money too, will return next time we are in Combe Martin
We visited as a large party of 12. We had pre booked and had pre ordered food. When we got there we were immediately made to feel very welcome. The food came exactly as ordered. The food itself was delicious and all generous portions. I would highly recommend the mussels and also the half tandoori chicken. Nothing was too much effort and the staff really did make our experience fantastic. Well worth a visit.

Came because of the real ale however, stopped for lunch, which was excellent. Nice to see an establishment offering fresh food as opposed to the general chips with everything. Lovely pub inside and benefits a beer garden and dog friendly. Will be back.

A lovely evening meal on a November Saturday night 8 people and a dog . We ate in the bar which. Had a nice relaxed atmosphere .

Food was great for everyone , good size portions and really nicely presented . Excellent steaks , fish stew and fish curry as well as burger and pie. Nice wine & choice of beer . Overall couldn't fault it.

To start off with, slow service. No menus given and had to get waitress attention several times. But- food was delicious and generous portion. Thoroughly enjoyed and would return. Staff polite and friendly. Reasonably priced would recommend

Don’t judge a book by its cover. This place serves great food has a great local beers and ciders and is very dog friendly. Perfect location too.
