We went to have dinner and ordered a variety of dishes including pork ribs, rump steak, onion rings, garlic bread, and chicken skewers. To our surprise, all the food items were delicious and cooked to perfection. Unlike many other restaurants and pubs where steaks are often overcooked, we decided to play it safe and ordered one rare and one medium-rare. We were pleasantly surprised that both steaks were cooked exactly as requested, and the quality of the meat was excellent. Although some parts of the steaks had a slightly charred taste, the staff were super accommodating with our request for additional sauce.
The pork ribs were exceptionally tender, flavourful and fell off the bone. The onion rings were crispy and very tasty. The satay chicken skewers were moist and very flavourful also. The dining area was clean, spacious, and the other patrons were friendly. We had such a great experience that The Colyton Hotel will definitely be one of our regular go to places for a feed.
Customer service was absolutely phenomenal (especially by the guy). Service was just super friendly and hospitable. We changed our table after we placed our order and none of the staff made a deal of it and more that happily redirected all our food to our new table.
Currently in the middle of reservations and my order was not fulfilled via the QR code ordering and was delayed compared to the rest of our party. In saying that, they could not have gone above and beyond to fix the error and were so apologetic and made sure I was looked after. I'm glad I decided to definitely wait for my meal and eat after all because the meal was delicious. I ordered the Steak & Ribs which was cooked perfectly. Sorry I don't have any pics to prove it but it was fantastic.

Bistro area & amenities have been renovated tastefully. Food is always fairly good. Free trivia Tuesdays, with themed trivia last Tuesday of the month.

Being a non smoker, the room was smelt smoke everytime i entered it, even though i requested a non smoking room.
Overall, ckean sheets, clean room, well stocked supplies.
Had lunch there today with my family. Fantastic friendly lady behind the bar who took our order, then, in quick time delivered lovely fresh cooked meals.
Excellent staff and customer service, cleanliness is brilliant in rooms, lovely staff, great location, reasonable price. Last night we had an issue with wifi connectivity, Alex was very kind and helpful and resolved the issue promptly. Very grateful for their service.
Nice quiet spot to enjoy dinner with the family, staff were very friendly and happy to help at all times.
Menu had all the classics as well as some exciting options that vary from your typical bistro.
I had the ribs, absolutely cooked to perfection, bones CLEANLY slid out of the meat leaving behind the most tender, succulent and deliciously marinated slab or meat you could ever wish for...
Also should be noted that it was rather quiet on a Saturday night, little to no wait times and not many other patrons.
Rooms were Clean and modern very friendly helpful staff and room service was amazingly yummy
I'm a truck drive. It's a great place for a truck to park over the night accommodation.
Rooms clean al free water in the fridge.
Food is quality food and fast can get busy some nights, also has a kids room for the kids to play

Food was great for the family although a little pricy except the lunch menu. We got our meals quickly but our drinks took so long we had to prompt them, she acknowledged that she had it then wondered off it was another 15min before I reminded her again. The ticket was still sitting on the bench where she left it. The place was not very busy. That is unacceptable for a pub that is a drink based business. 4 stars only for the food and bistro staff.
Friendly Staff, affordable rooms with surprisingly high quality pillows and Mattress. would have given 5 stars on room if the tv had a signal.
Really enjoyed my meal the service was fantastic the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome the lady name was Tracey it's this type of great personal service that makes your experience worth coming back
Had a large function which was great, food came out fast and everyone was happy with their meals. The service was great and friendly environment.
