The Red Lion - Coltishall - Photo album

Really nice pub, food was lovely, we only had something small but it all smelt good. Nice different areas for dining and drinking and a little cosy area too. Bonus that it has a car park so you don't need to worry about parking and we were able to leave the car there until the next morning too.
Curious place where the bar isn't apparent when you walk in until you realise it's sort of downstairs in a small low-ceilinged room. A very friendly welcome and an excellent pint of Bateman's XB, with several other appealing options on handpull. We would have lingered for more but lunch awaited dow
Great pub, second time we've visited, once outdoors and this time indoors. Very friendly welcome both times and all required measures in place. Dog friendly. Will definitely be visiting again the next time we're in Coltishall 👍 Thankyou
An excellent example of a proper local pub, well run and great atmosphere.
Cafe No. 77 is behind the Red Lion but also a part of it... The cafe is lovely, friendly staff, gorgeous decor and interior, cosy worth another visit
Great local pub where you only get Norfolk brewed beers. Sarah, who managed the pub is highly hospitable and very industrious in keeping this pub a going concern filled nightly by loyal locals
Ideal stop if you just want a quick cheap snack and a drink as it has a cafe attached to the pub. Had a large scotch egg which was delicious and a nice pint.
What a fabulous place. Great beer and a great environment. Beautiful, ancient pub with great beer and wonderful staff. Thanks for such a great time.
We play in band and we really value this venue. Mostly because the people that come to see the band love the pub. It has really friendly staff. a great choice of beers, good wines and some really great dishes. Furthermore, it has a daytime cafe that serves possibly the best coffee on the Broads and
Excellent pub, fantastic customer service. All the staff incredibly friendly and accommodating. We visited twice over a weekend away and the landlady couldn't have been better to us. Would definitely recommend.
Stayed in Coltishall for one night and stopped at The Red Lion for a few drinks on our way back to our B and B. What a fantastic pub, the locals are so friendly and Sarah who runs it is so welcoming and fun. Cracking evening, highly recommend. Vicki and Matt
Lovely pub. Visited twice in two days to watch the football and was looked after both times by the owner who went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Great indoor private room and outside garden for the sun. Thoroughly recommend it
The Thai Food on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays is excellent well recommended.
We always receive a very warm welcome when ever we go. Excellent gin (other drinks available!!!) and always a brilliant way to spend a late Sunday afternoon with live music, usually lots of dancing and Friendly atmosphere
The food is top notch and the ambience special. As well as a good range of veggie food they are known for Thai, fusion food and excellent beers. Dogs are allowed at the bar and they have regular live music sessions. All told a really lovely place. (Watch out for the ghosts though...)
Lovely little pub. Amazingly lovely and friendly landlady. Will definitely come again next we happen to be nearby.
Gorgeous pub with lovely staff..owner Sarah is a delight as is Michelle. Lovely big garden, car parking and good choice of drinks. Definitely recommend and will return soon!
A proper pub.. normally has 3 or 4 real ales on, kept by a wonderfully competent Landlady. Barstaff are friendly and not averse to gentle banter from locals, good range of clientele from across the political spectrum and the class divide..
