The Martin's Arms - Colston Bassett - Photo album

We made and unplanned stop for food and refreshments here and had an absolutely splendid time. Fabulous service and welcome, first class food and a wonderful selection of drinks are the minimum here, rather than the aim. The building and garden are superb and very comfortable and the car park is qui
The food is really good, especially the burger that has a hint of smokiness to the patty. We also had the “deconstructed” banoffee pie. The banana ice cream is a stroke of genius!!!
Lunch. In the beautiful beer garden. A little trip out to Colston Bassett Nottinghamshire's most expensive village. This is a very traditional pub. The Martin's Arms is a Grade 2 listed building. It is now in the hands of new owners. As it was a sunny day, we sat in their beautifully tended garden w
Been coming here on and off for 8 years now as I love the old building and decor and the beer garden is a little bit of paradise - but not been for a while….. pleased to report the new owners have got it just right - superb bar food, friendly and efficient service and my favourite Nottingham EPA bee
We have dined here a few times and also have just enjoyed drinks. A rare find this gorgeous, quintessential village pub offers a fantastic menu with dishes to die for and an atmosphere you simply can’t get enough of. Step back in time in the restaurant with candle sticks and silverware or the bar wi
New ownership, new friendly vibe, this lovely establishment is starting to live up to its potential. We've had a few very enjoyable visits recently and are looking forward to returning.
Now under new ownership with more reasonable prices and revised opening hours but with the same fabulous food and staff. Open for drinks 12:00-22:00 weekdays, 12:00-11:00 weekends and 19:00 on Sundays. Food served all day Saturday and until 17:00 on Sundays.
Fish goujon sandwiches in a lovely garden in the sunshine, spot on. Food is beautiful, staff are professional and friendly. A special place to relax.
We had a wonderful lunch in this quiet pub. The atmosphere was excellent, the beer very good and the food, perfect for a January day.
We always enjoy visits to this pub /restaurant - it’s my favourite and full of history and character. Beautiful garden as well; which is a great place to sit in the warmer weather. The food is lovely with a great selection - their fish & chips are spectacular! Yes, it’s a bit more expensive than som
A little bit pricey but good beer and atmosphere
A great British pub, with the local Colston Basset cheese featuring on the menu, and good ale behind the bar (Timothy Taylor's Landlord -Aug 2018). Expensive, but great food. Lovely village setting with parking and large beer garfen.
Pretty pub in a quiet village setting. Lovely garden in the summer. Staff shortages are evident in their offhand attitude. Very good menu, but fairly pricey - at least £10 for a sandwich...but thick, nice fillings and served with chips and salad.
Amazing food and atmosphere. We hosted our daughter's Christening party at The Martin's Arms and it was excellent.
Lovely pub, excellent staff and very good food.
