Arrived just 10 minutes before closing, so was expecting to be turned away. Instead I was welcomed with a warm greeting and shown to my table. I order a cheese and bacon burger and coffee, both of which were hot and tasty.

Nice breakfast even for late hours still fresh prepared and kindly served! Is like at american style truckstop ! All waitress are friendly and the cooker is also understandly if you please him! Thanks
Popped in mid afternoon on the way back down south. Restaurant had a few other diners but not busy. Staff were friendly and efficient. Food hot and tasty. Can't ask for much more really. Restaurant was clean too with staff not serving busy cleaning 👍
We were on our way back from visiting a sick Aunty in Lincoln when we stopped at the OK Diner for a bite to eat. We felt, we couldn't have picked a better place. Great choice of food and drink and friendly service. Our food was cooked to order so lovely and fresh 😋 Thank you Team OK Diner 👍
It's hard to imagine a roadside Diner being the best burger I've had in the UK but knowing how good these are we actually took a 30 minute diversion from our trip back from Alton Towers. 100% worth it. My surf-and-turf with mexican cheese loaded fries was excellent and available for the same price as a McDonalds meal.
Oh and the milkshakes....again probably the best you will find in the UK. Love this place, very friendly staff and super fast service.....Look past the unfortunate wasteland this diner is located on now the garage is demolished....it's worth a stop, it's worth a special journey!

The food is okay. It’s what you would expect for a diner next to the highway. The staff there works their tail off, and do a good job. It was very busy when we were there and they got everything out in a timely manner.
No surprises what you get at OK Diner which is a non nonsense filling and good tasting meal. Service is pretty quick and menu quite extensive with mixture of hot sandwiches, burgers, breakfasts and full plate meals. Milkshakes are amazing and super thick with ice cream used and would recommend them alone if you just want a drink.
Very friendly service. Nice and clean. Good atmosphere. Food was very tasty and proper thick toast, none of the cheap thin supermarket bread.
Great diner serving the best American style foods in the UK.

Great burgers but the Peanut Butter Cup milkshake is amazing, worth a trip on its own.
A bit strange but I praised the staff for the cleanliness of the toilets which were noteworthy.
Had an excellent plate of waffles, fried chicken and bacon. Portions are more British sized than American, but that’s probably a good thing for my arteries, and needless to say it filled me up to the brim nonetheless. Exceptionally friendly service, with classic décor and music.
Only advice would be to put further signage another mile up the road to make it easier to pull in when the road is busy, as I had to move quickly on the fast road when I noticed the 1/2 mile sign.
Food was slightly disappointing. I had the breakfast - the 2 sausages were thin, and generally portion wasn't that large. My friend had a burger and chips which looked more appealing.
Atmosphere was exactly as you'd want from an American diner. And free refills on soft drinks (although they tasted watered down).
Wide area to pull-off into. Would be suited for larger vehicles too. Short lane to rejoin the A1, so have to get on with it.
This place was a lifesaver. Made a stop last thing on Sunday to break a long journey. Just needed something simple with fries and a strong brew to get me through the rest of my journey, and pleased to say I got what I needed. And despite it being half an hour before closing, the staff were still upbeat and welcoming ☺
