Lakeside Cafe - Colne - Photo album

A lovely local beauty spot, lot's of folk as you walk around, very friendly and Ideal for dog walkers. On the day we visited the cafe could not accept card payment which was inconvenient and the toilets were closed with the nearest one some distance away. The cafe was quite basic but adequate for ge
Super cafe situated by a pretty lake. Food is delicious and served in hearty portions. Staff are friendly and helpful.
The café building is converted from a remnant of the Industrial Age (part of a former tannery) set beside the lodge (a kind of small man made lake). It’s a lovely stopping point on the walk between Colne and Wycoller, with cheery service and wholesome food (and lovely cakes) at very reasonable price
Stopped off here on the bike today, beautiful little cafe in absolutely gorgeous surroundings, perfect brew and sandwich, friendly staff, will definitely be visiting again 🙂
We were needing a brew and we saw the sign so called great place to visit on a sunny day you can sit out by the lake and watch the birds or on a wet day you can (like we did sit in rain fall on the lake.) Delicious food, great location and parking close by. Visited with my mum and my two boys and enjoyed a veggie breakfast and full breakfast's. The lady who took our order was so kind, friendly and thoughtful, nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be returning.. Highly recommended.
Very good traditional Cafe in a lovely location beside the lake. I loved the fact that they use only top quality stuff, no "Happy Shopper" brown sauce etc here !! The place is clean and the staff are very friendly. Although we are not local, when ever we find ourselves even near here we will detour
Lovely cafe, good coffee and of course bacon and sausage bun 😁 well worth a wee visit. Lovely little walk around the lake so great for the kids.
Great little cafe in a picturesque place overlooking a small wildlife lake/park. There is a carpark & some outdoor seating (which is south facing so in full sun). This was my 1st visit while out on my motorbike & had a bacon/sausage/egg sw & mug of tea that was excellent. Didn't have any cake but th
What a beautiful place to visit, with good food and beautiful home made cake
Very nice cafe at the side of a fishing lake. Decent food and drinks. Plenty of free parking. Disabled people would be better using the lower car park down the steep slope.
Lovely place set along the lake and nature park. The staff are so lovely and friendly and helpful. Can be busy especially on nice days but worth the wait. Outside tables also. Menu is varied including fab cakes.
Lovely friendly staff, freshly made and prepared food. Yummy homemade cakes, which were all nicely displayed and covered too. Nice place to sit and watch the ducks.
This is a great cafe run by wonderful staff. They can't do enough for me and brother who has Down's syndrome. Fab food, top class efficient service with a smile, always clean and tidy. We come every week and will continue to do so. Keep up the great work girls. I will recommend you to everyone I kno
