Quite the place. The spin on the classic fish and chips with Indian and Chinese flavours is a surprise but a welcome one. The Indian fish was very light and probably better than the salt and pepper chicken strips. Surprisingly busy for Sunday lunch at 2pm.
It's a really nice large fish and chip restaurant. There's plenty of seating, and it's spotlessly clean inside. The service is prompt, and the staff are friendly. On ordering, the food is at the table within a few minutes. The fish chips and mushy peas are amazing. The cheese and onion pie is also s
I thoroughly enjoyed this! It's the perfect balance between a traditional fish and chips and a fusion of Indian and Chinese flavours! Literally can not fault any of the food or the service and it was bang on. The Indian fish and chips with the salt and pepper fries was bang on. The mushy peas are pe
Brilliant food and service. Friendly, smiling staff bring a a warm welcome 🙏 The bonus is they also cater for those who suffer from a gluten intolerance. #gluten free. #Celiac disease
We've visited Bannys many occasions and never been disappointed. The service is always top notch and served with a smile. Orders are taken quickly and the food also comes quick, longest we've ever waited has been around 20 mins. Requests are always fulfilled and presentation of the food is always
Decent enough food for the price. Don't expect the same portion size as from a proper chippy but I think this is a good thing because you don't feel as sickly afterwards. Fish batter & gravy are halal friendly. Gluten free options available. Service despite everyone being nice, they seemed overwhelm
The food was great, I had fish goujons, if you cant manage a full fish and chips, these are perfect. my friend had cheese and onion pie
Great place, Indian fish and chips was the bomb! Cheese and onion pie was astounding. Went without booking at 2pm. Got a table within minutes plenty of space and great deco. Brilliant table service. Fish and chips cooked in veg oil and the cheese and onion pie was halal too. Will go again.
Great customer service and no waiting around for our food. My fish and chips were really tasty, the fish was cooked to perfection. My husband had the Indian fish and really enjoyed the flavours. The madras curry sauce served with it was delicious.
I've been coming here for a good few years now, and I can't fault it in any way. I'll start off with the cheese pie; it's amazing, it gives you that homely comfort food feeling. The Indian fish tikka in naan; generally this is my go to unless I want the cheese pie. The fish in naan is spot on, it ta
Very modern, clean and inviting. Plenty of free parking and a short stroll across from the wonderful Boundary Mill! What could be better? A traditional fish and chip lunch (with or without white bread and butter side) followed by an afternoon shopping? Other menu alternatives are available, too. Sta
This is a nice place to enjoy good food with a nice glass of wine if you fancy it. The restaurant is really pleasant and the service is fast. The down side is that it is a little pricey but very nice for a treat.
Food was banging!!! Friendly, helpful staff.
