This isn't "fine dining", it's the place you go to when you're starving and want a damned good feed without spending a fortune. Or maybe you're in town for a few bits and you fancy a nice fry... look no further.
Just up the street from Gregg's Bakers as well, except your food is freshly cooked to order at The Big O.

Great wee place for good food at a very reasonable price
Stopped in Coleraine for food, this was where we found to eat, the place was quiet but the waitress got us seated and took our order quickly and politely. Our drinks came and then our food very quickly after, we weren’t expecting it nearly as quick. We ordered a fry and chicken Maryland, both very well cooked, big portions, we could hardly finished what we were given. We both left pleasantly surprised by our meal out. Great wee spot for food 😊
The best place to have lunch or dinner in the city. Not only are the burgers great but they are also very good value for money. But without a doubt the best thing was the waiters. Ronda and her husband are super friendly with their customers and treated us very well. We will definitely come back and we recommend them 100%.

This cafe has been a long standing institution in Coleraine town for as long as I can remember. Recently though, they've been modernizing. New items on the menu, a fancy new till system, and now an online order/delivery service! Management at The Big O are making improvements, but also keeping that rustic charm that the people of Coleraine love so much about this place.

Good lil cafe. I've been a few. The menu and standard of food great if you're looking for traditional favourites like sandwiches, fry-ups, baked potatoes etc. My son went for something a bit more 'swanky', peppered chicken stack and it was really nice. All good value for money. The only drawback is that the seating had little room for big fella like me.
Just had an order delivered The food was fab great portions and it was hot on arrival. I really enjoyed it would defo order again from here.
Tasty food in a nice little diner, and the portions are big so go in hungry. The lady that served us was very nice too.

I recently went here for lunch,i found the staff friendly,helpful,and polite,It was great to acually eat some proper food,, potatoes,veg garlic chicken ,most everywhere else is fried fast-food and burgers, unhealthy and more expensive.I now travel from Portrush to Big Os for lunch almost every-day,i havent yet seen anything that would make me want to give anything other than 5 star.
Used to love this place when I was living at home. So took my partner for lunch and it was as good as I remembered
