Stayed for 3 nights. It is such a beautiful location, really quiet and relaxing. Seamus and his family are incredible and made us very welcome. Nothing was any trouble. The on-site tapas restaurant is gorgeous.

Shared a meal here with family this week. Lovel picturesque location next to the river Bann and overlooked by grazing cattle on the the hillside opposite. Tasty and well presented seafood. Good menu. A range of drinks. Friendly, unhurried and inobtrusive service. Would be happy to return. Go raibh míle maith agaibh.

Ok so 4 stars for food and I'd give 5 to the two lovely waiting staff but there is one major problem...outdoor seating is not dog friendly. You'd be forgiven for thinking it was because since Covid nearly everywhere with outdoor seating is. To be fair the owner did come and explain his reasons and, as we'd already ordered and paid for our food, he allowed me to keep my dog with us but unfortunately it means I won't be going back.

Meal booked for 4 people. Sat down for 18.30. Not rushed. Menu was fairly broad and reasonable. Worked out about £100 split 4 ways. Drinks and meal served timely and hot. Staff attentive but not in your face. Temp taken and sanitising on entry. Not mad busy but very glad we booked. Outlook from venue is lovely. Not our first visit and will definitely be back.

This evening was our second visit to The Cranagh, delighted both times. Sunday lunch was perfect, great views and a more than decent pint of stout. This afternoon was more of the same. As mentioned previously, the price is fair, the staff are friendly and attentive and it makes for a pretty relaxing visit. I have, and will recommend this to friends and family, I reckon it'll be a regular haunt.

The food was great, despite being a limited menu. They are taking Covid safety very seriously, with each customer required to sanitise their hands and have their temperature taken on arrival. The tables are very well separated in an airy, bright marquee with views of the river and surrounding countryside.

We went for a carvery. The food itself was nice. Though if it's your first time there like ours it's not clear where you have to go for your food. As the starters where brought to you at the table. Then you go help yourself to the main. Which is at the back slightly off to another room from where you are sitting.

Recently had my wedding reception at the crannagh. It was incredible!! Our coordinator made us feel so at ease about the day, all of the staff were fantastic, the food was unreal, all the guests were raving about the bbq buffet. The view was beautiful and they were open to all our weird quirks such as alpacas and arriving by boat :D highly recommend for anyone looking a wedding venue!

Excellent afternoon tea with wonderful scenic views. Fantastic range of cakes and treats, even with the gluten free option. Great value for money. Would highly recommend.
