Cod was freshly cooked and chips were tasty. Portions were large. Queue was fairly long, out the shop and down the street, but it was a Friday and well worth the short wait. Service was quick and the ladies worked fast to get orders completed. Would visit again when next in the area.
Lovely fish, its best to phone your order through in advance to avoid the queue. We found that the standard portion of chips is about double what most humans can eat, so another time we order half the quantity.
The food here is incredible, always fresh and tasty. I really cannot fault it. Unfortunately I cannot give them five stars due to the wait time. I queued today for over half an hour outside and they seem to prioritise phone in orders so that takes extra time then delays waiting customers with random

Whilst on holiday in the area we stopped for fish and chips. They were excellent. Will go again next time we're down on holiday. This is a small portion of chips
It's been over 13 years since I last come here due to moving out of the town but we had some tonight and I had to say how nice it was! Proper chippy chips, sausage wasn't too greasy and the oil obviously gets changed unlike so many around here! Will be back next time we fancy a chippy!
Rang in advance to order our Fish and Chips and boy were they good. Order all packed and waiting for us on arrival. Both huge portions of cod cooked to perfection! Well done!
Quite possibly one of the best chip shops I've been to.
Massive portions of top quality fish and chips. Ring ahead and order haddock or plaice in advance - they are huge pieces of fish that will fill your plate on their own. One piece is easily enough for two people. Very friendly crew there and always popular. You won't be disappointed.

A great fish and chip shop, I'd have given it 5 stars but you still have to remember to carry cash to buy food from here, this limited me as I like to buy a lot because their food is so great. Hopefully there will be a tap and pay service next time I visit. I would still highly recommend this place,
