I liked this pub very much. We had dinner with friends and the staff were very friendly. They told us that the place was busy and that there would be a wait...not bad at all and the food was worth the wait. Good food, good drink and a great atmosphere. I would want to eat here again if in the area.

The new inn was very accommodating for our large party of 20 and gave us our own space in the conservatory. We visited on a hot day and the staff ensured the room was well ventilated by opening all windows and doors were to provide a breeze. The french doors opened onto a beer garden with a play are
Good quality traditional pub food at reasonable prices. It was a bit chilly so had to keep a coat on. But they did have an open fire on the other side of the pub. It was just a bit far away from us to make a difference.

Very accommodating for a tasty walk in meal. They were showing the rugby and we got chatting to other people nearby. All round good atmosphere. Would recommend.
